We have stayed here before and never had any problems. But this time the people next door had a dog that was not a service dog in their room that barked all night. The hotel did not allow pets and they lied that it was a service dog. We had to call front desk to complain

The plumbing was not great tub did not drain well. Tub was dented which left a water puddle. It took a while to get hot water. Other than that it was a good place

Customer service was top notch!! Kudos to all of you that work so hard! My only complaint is the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly and the shower wouldn’t go fully between shower and bath. It was functional but not a lot of pressure as it was still flowing through bath spout. Otherwise we had a very comfortable stay and the kids enjoyed the pool even for its size.

Good hotel, Unfortunate area around it

The staff were all friendly. The breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, waffels, assorted pastries). Our room was clean and beds comfortable. The tv is in an akward location on the wall btw the beds and office area (suite room). One member of our party slept on the couch/bed and noted the mattress was ok. The traffic in the area is terrible in the morning. Both Forest Dr and Ashley Phosphate Rd are very congested. I26 into Charleston has a lot of stop and go traffic. Plan for extra time to make it to events. The area behind the hotel is not very appealing. One morning there was a dog that barked non stop and the next morning, there was a rooster crowing for 30min.

I did not like the full length mirror facing the bed. I felt as if i was being watched. The shower tile had strands of red hair on the soap dish (I'm bald due to alopecia)and the grip bar is near the faucet not near the edges where to get out to hold onto.
