Stayed here for two nights. As we entered the hotel the smell was vivid of old moldy carpets or something else. The room had the same smell and walls with smears of who knows what. First morning asked the front desk staff to service the room as we ran out of clean towels, but upon returning at night nothing was touched in the room. At least it was close to Charleston.

Check- in went well. Room was moldy had to buy airfreshiner, garbage on the hall for a few days. Elevator ceiling panels has bugs on them. Watched the breakfast food attendent touching the utensils and equipment that was touched by all the patrons eating breakfast. He he then proceed to restocked the chafing dishes by hand with the same glove he had on.

It was a great location. The room was very neat. I noticed the room had a slight dampness and slight musty smell. Maybe to A/C unit wasn’t functioning as it should be to pull the humidity from the air.

Not worth it.
I will not be returning ro this hotel. You get what you pay for. I arrived at 4 pm on a thursday. I checked in but did not go up to room, i was running late to meet peopl. Upon my arrival at 9 pm, i went to my room with my two large cases to find the room not cleaned from the previous guest. I went to front desk that told me there was noone from house keeping to clean it, would i like to cancel my reservation. I said no i wanted another room. I was given another room which the keys did not work so i had to make another trip to the front desk. Finally got into my room at 9:30. It smelled very musty, super tired looking, the second security lock was missing. Even though i asked to have fixed, they "could not". I asked for daily house keeping, they showed up 2 out of 4 days. The buffet room area was filthy. Your shoes stuck to the floor. The entire hotel needs to be throughly cleaned. The buffet was all pre packaged muffins, 1 type of ceral. 1 type of fruit. The cream cheese and butter was frozen. I eould actually shoe pictures, but it is not letting me add them.

I checked in near midnight because my dad had emergency surgery. I went through Expedia because staff said if I reserved through the hotel, I would have to pay a deposit. I went back to the app to reserve, and the price was all of a sudden higher. The parking area was not lit, and there were no spaces near the building. I got into the room, and it smelled like mildew. There was so much humidity in the room that the fan blades were sagging—looked like a wilted flower. Water was already in the coffee chamber, and since I didn’t know how long it had been there, I cleaned it out. Check out was fine, the staff was nice.

The clerk that checked my group in was extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was conveniently located near the cruise port.

Really good for the price you pay. Breakfast is okay, no vegetarian hot food option but I understand not a lot of people are vege therefor not the end of the world. Bedroom was big and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
