Very clean. Updated. The breakfast buffet was excellent! One of the best quality free breakfast buffets I have experienced. Friendly staff. Convenient location. It is a shame that downtown Charleston has lost so many businesses. But Capital Street restaurants are not far away. I would stay here again.

The access door from the parking lot doesn't work. When we informed the front desk they said it's been like that for weeks. There is no water fountain, you have to go to the breakfast area to get water from a Cistern. Elevators are far from the lobby and only one elevator services the hotel making it inconvenient.
