Hotel is close to everything. Just over the bridge so easy to get to the beach (about 10 min) or to downdown Charleston (about 10 min). There is a nightly parking fee of $5 and breakfast is not complementary (this is very clearly stated but it's nice to know) Had a miscommunication at the front desk as I am a Hilton rewards member. They offered the perks from that even though I booked via expedia. I questioned it, but they confirmed I was eligible. At the end of the stay, instead of a $0 balance I had several charges. When I called to inquire they said sorry, you weren't eligible, no credit given. I should have checked again during the stay-but be aware if they offer Hilton perks.

Front desk not paying attention to guests. Black woman (front desk) was sitting at the bar and the phone was constantly ringing. We asked someone to clean the room (we stayed there for 3 days) but it was dirty after they ‘cleaned.’

Staff was great and accommodating. Property was very nice as well but the bed and pillows were absolutely terrible. Woke up with severe back pain 2 days in a row. Advised staff and they were very nice and assured us they would advise management.

Clean, professional & quiet. Only one MAJOR issue and as a female arriving late, raining, cold and with a breathing (lung) disorder; VERY inconvenient to have to walk all the way back to the car after checking in to place a paper on my dash instead of taking license tag and make of car.

Mediocre stay

It feels like a very no frills type of stay. The breakfast which was not included in the stay was good but supplies were non exist or low. There was no fresh milk for 2 days- completely unacceptable and it didnt seem management even knew about that when I mentioned it. Lack of communication and lack of onsite management is clearly an issue. When I asked for english muffins the answer was that they were also out of that because no one took them out of the freezer. Seems simple task for daily breakfast at a hotel.
