The staff were great and the bartenders were super cool. We loved the water/fruit station at each floor to fill up bottles for our room. Nice touch. Really great job on the property renovation as an old motel.conveniently located as well with a short walk to any fun thing to do as a tourist. I'd stay again.

Spotty service. Terrible room first night with view of parking lot thru wet paint doors and AC would not heat and door security deadbolt wouldn’t turn. And they upgraded me to a nice room on street//lots of partying. Restaurant ok, concierge a dragon. Could improve given the price.

The Emeline is a beautiful boutique hotel. We loved the decor and the restaurant Frannie and the fox was delicious. Advice for those staying I would suggest you not take a room by the staircase or by the back street view. We had a lot of noise from the street and from the entertainment truck packing up equipment from a wedding that ended at the Emeline. Also leave your door open if you are in the suite. Most of the air conditioning came from the living room area and we were really hot until we realized we needed to leave that door open to let air flow in. They have a nice setup of nespresso coffee, tea and filtered water in the hallway. I also really liked the wine and beer hour given to hotel guests between 3-4pm. Nice touch.

I purchased the premier double bed room which on the images it should a room with a couch. This is not accurate to what the hotel gives you. The front desk person even looked it up on Expedia and said it’s Expedias fault. Be very careful because pictures do no match what you get

This was an excellent experience. We loved the restaurant inside and all the amenities offered at check-in including free bikes for sightseeing! Beautiful and clean hotel central to Charleston sights. Must-book hotel!

This hotel has so much potential! It’s in the best part of Charleston; so close to the water, very walkable, a great restaurant inside (Frannie and the Fox). However it’s just not clean. Our room was cute, but gross. The toilet little plastic things that cover bolts on the back of toilet were broken off, there was noticeable dinginess on the baseboards, and we had 2 ROACHES in our room on the last day. We didn’t spend much time in the room the other days so I’m guessing there were more. We did mention it to the front desk, but they were just grossed out and didn’t offer any sort of accommodation. The workout is truly gross.. it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages. If this place could get its cleaning act together it could be 5 star.

check in was great, concierge and valet were always friendly and nice. Frannies restaraunt was good once you were inside, but the greeting staff were not nice they were not welcoming and made you feel they were doing you a favour when they seated you. the bed, shower and room were very good.

This was a pleasant surprise! Beautiful hotel, very comfortable rooms and had everything you could possibly need right at your fingertips. The only downfall was the smell of the horses every time you walked out the door. But I can definitely live with that Sense you were right where you wanted to be when you walked out the door. A huge hotel with a boutique like feel!
