Chambers Motel
The motel has been taken over from Days Inn to SureStay by Best Western. It has been refurbished, and is much improved to what it was before. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was very nice too with 2 beds, refrigerator and microwave. There is also breakfast included in the price, and the price is also very reasonably. Would recommend if you are passing through as it it just off I40.

Works for What I needed
The hotel is clearly doing a lot of construction/renovation. It wasn’t noisy or anything but there are moldings missing and lots of rooms are still torn apart. The room has a fridge and microwave. The bathroom had recently been refreshed. The bed was large and decently comfortable The staff was very fast and friendly. They definitely seem to be doing their best to be helpful

The little motel that could.
The main room was is good shape, but the bathroom/sink area really needed some TLC. It was mostly clean but the sink fixtures were not attached to the sink, there were holes in the toilet/shower door and paint peeling on the molding of the same door. The microwave door was loose so getting it to close properly was not always successful. It is located right on the freeway access road so there is a bit of road noise but with the airconditioner running it wasn't too excessive. Do a few maintenance items and this could be a nice relatively inexpensive stay.

NO POOL
Hotel was advertised as having a pool. There is NO pool here! The kids were extremely disappointed. Looks like there will be an indoor pool in the future. It appears the hotel has been somewhat renovated, but it has not been done very well. The shower was not very clean and had hair all over it. There is a rain shower head just sticking out of the ceiling in the shower. It was pretty much unusable. There was just a hole in the wall where an electrical outlet was but it just had wires sticking out. I’m sure they were capped but seemed unsafe if you have young kids. Water was definitely brown. We did not use the water to brush our teeth. We used bottled water instead. The breakfast was not great. It was eggs and sausage in a crock pot. We did not eat the breakfast. Also had cereal and bread to make toast. The coffee was not drinkable either. I was worried about drinking it due to the brown water but was willing to chance it for morning caffeine. When we added creamer to our cups the creamer curdled. It was very odd. It was different creamers. I added liquid creamer to mine and my mom added powdered creamer. Both types curdled and became chunky. I cannot even fathom why it would do that. We poured out our coffee and skipped that too. I went to the neighboring gas station and bought bottled iced coffee.

The staff is cheerful and the room is spacious and beautiful. HOWEVER, there is no longer a real breakfast included, as had been talked about on line. I gather it's continental (which for dietary reasons I can't eat). The nearest McDonald's is 45 minutes down the line. The restaurant is now Indian, and I like Indian, but I'm not sure it's breakfast food for me?? No idea, really. I think they would be smart to go back to having a traditional real breakfast! The highway seems loud, but we can't hear it in the room.

Nice rooms but absolutely nothing within many miles. Only restaurant is a broken down very old former diner serving only Indian food. Didn’t stay for the breakfast, ice machine not working. Hotel is okay but the location is awful

Just passing through and I needed a place to sleep. Girl at front desk was great! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good for what you got. There is a restaurant attached but I didn’t go there!
