So so hotel
It was a good stop on our travels. We had everything a person would need for overnight. The room was stuffy and smelled a bit stale. It could use a refresh or a air freshener. The beds were comfy but the top sheet was very thin. The breakfast buffet was okay.

Very disappointed with this hotel. We booked the most expensive room available in town, because after travelling for 12 hours we just desperately wanted a good night sleep, but were kept awake all night by the people upstairs who sounded like a herd of elephants. We could even hear them tolling over in bed. The whole place must be made of cardboard. The room stunk badly of dog (I am allergic to both cigarette smoke and animals, but it seems that this hotel only bans people from smoking in their rooms but not from brining in pets. Guests should be asked if they want a pet free room). The mattress was hard as a rock with lumps in it, and the pillows, and not much better. Went to use the swimming pool, It was very cloudy, possibly from over chlorination, and it was way too cold. Kids were bombing (it’s way too shallow). The hot tub was filthy and full of foam and brown scum. And at 6am four guests who parked their Harley Davidsons woke us up. The only good thing about this place was the lovely young lady at reception who was a delight and very helpful.

I appreciated that this hotel had an option for a 2 bedroom suite with a door between bedrooms so our kids were in our room but we still had some privacy. I wish that the bathroom had been more central as it was inside the 2nd bedroom so everyone had to pass through our room to get to it. Also, there was no soap or shampoo stocked in the room when we arrived but that was an easy fix. The breakfast was typical for continental breakfast but they did run out of some types of cereal while we were there.

Nice hotel that has been updated but still could see the originality of it. Our entire floor in our hotel room creaked although it wasn’t a big deal. Bed was comfortable, staff was super nice, breakfast was good, especially the biscuits and sausage gravy and the muffins. The pillows on our bed were needing replaced as they were sparse. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to others as it was a pleasant stay overall.

The staff were the best part of our stay. Energetic, quick to help, genuine, knowledgeable. It was hard to find the entrance (it's next to the restaurant next door) and the breakfast wasn't much, but the Country Kitchen restaurant had great food to go, so we used that. There's a gas station just down the hill (walking distance for us, but also an easy drive). THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. That would be good to know ahead of arrival! Decent fitness center, but the AC didn't work in it, and it was next to the pool, so it was HOT. The room was clean and nice, with a refrigerator and microwave. Overall, a decent place to stay for me and my daughter, who could carry our own luggage up the stairs.

Wasn’t very happy when we had to move to a different room because a refrigerator truck was parked outside our window. Instead of making the truck move, we had to. They did, however upgrade our room and gave us $20 off our hotel stay.
