I reserved 2 rooms at this property about 6 weeks before our stay. When we arrived, I was informed we had 2 rooms, both on the 5th floor which doesn't have an elevator. One person in my party is elderly and unable to navigate stairs, so we had to pay extra for a room she could get to. After we got to our room and saw the condition, we checked out and went to another hotel. The beds were sagging, part of the lock on the door was missing, part of the bathroom sink fixture was missing, the bed coverings were old and the place seemed like a firetrap.

The mini blinds were broke, so anybody could look in the windows. The heat didn’t work. The staff was rude really didn’t want to stay there, but nobody else had a room for that night.

It is an awesome hotel, very quaint and cozy. The only thing that could need look after is a condition of beds - my room needs some new mattress.

Place is a dump, run Forest run, run fast! Also no elvator to the top floor, you carry heavy luggage up one flight of stairs.Why is this place rated so high, it's in the boonies.Even Larry Daryl and his other brother Daryl, would shake their heads no.

So the first room we were given had a fridge door that would not shut properly. We asked for another room and the second one smelled overpowering of febreeze. We found a plug in sprayer and in looking found someone else’s shorts and socks and that a piece of the ceiling was peeling off. We asked for a third time and were given a room next to a crying infant. As there were only about a dozen cars in the lot and the hotel had 55 rooms ….. In the morning dirty brown water with black particles came out of the sink and shower taps. Worst hotel experience in my life.
