Checked in and wasn't there more than 10 minutes and left. French fries behind the night stand and found a roach on the microwave. It won't let me post a photo.

Check in was easy, it definitely needs some TLC, breakfast was soso, after we saw a cockroach in the bathroom of our room, we choose to not eat any food there. I would have requested a new room but it was 1am when we saw it and had a 1yr back to sleep and a 2yr sleeping. I told the owner about it and he only seemed shock it was on the 2nd floor.

This by far was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. There were no rooms available at other hotels for many miles due to a concert in the area otherwise the 4 of us would of left.. You first open the room door and the mold smell hits you, followed by the smell of urine coming from the bathroom followed by the sight of dried urine all down the front of the toilet and around the toilet base, the wall next to the toilet had its own “art work” smattered about the wall, the shower rod was half way pulled from the wall, with a hairball in the drain as well as pubic hairs on the shower wall, the bathroom floor was rotted so you watched where you stepped. The floor in the room had not been vacuumed in god knows how long. The room walls and doors were covered in filth and god knows the last time they were wiped down. The main bed spread was removed due to the unknown filth, only to find the middle blanket smeared with what looked like poop, went to the front desk to take a risk and request more bedding. The air conditioner unit and filter was absolutely dirty with dust/mold all over. The windows were dirty and the rubber around it was falling off, very easy to break into. Breakfast was supposed to be served but was not, and at this point we would not of partaken. Please save your self and pass this place up. This place is older and is falling apart, looks run down on the outside, Worse inside. This place made our skin crawl, even after the shower.

Our room smelled musty and like mildew. Beding appeared clean but there were holes in the fitted sheet. Bathroom was not clean. There was hair and grim everywhere. I get it is a Super 8 but why can't it be clean?

Horrible room smelled very musty! The pillows were damp and sharing a bathroom with bugs and old urine in the toilet isn’t exactly what I would call a good stay. I went and bought cleaning supplies just to clean up the room

The studio room had a king size bed and a twin size couch hide a bed for 2 kids and 2 senior adults. The listing as a studio room should have stated the studio bed was a twin size and I would not have booked it. We made it work, since we were all very tired. The owner was pleasant and helpful, which we appreciated.

We stayed here one night and that was one too many. When we first got to our room we opened the door and it was 85 degrees in there! Well that’s because there was a space heater heating the room that looked like it was from the 1980s and a fire hazard. I was told the main heating element in the room was broken. So we asked to switch rooms. Our second room had a bad odor and all rooms need major updates. The sheets are dingy and the paint scratched all over the walls. My daughter had a separate room and her toilet didn’t even flush. Would not recommend staying here

I stayed here because it was convenient and less expensive than the only other hotel option in the immediate area. The bed was comfortable and clean. The condition of the room was disappointing. There were lightbulbs not working above the sink, only one of the four lamps in the room was functional, the outlets were very overused and loose, so much so that the plug to charge my phone fell out of the outlet or did not connect to power. There were wear marks on the headboard of the bed and on the walls in various places. When I went for breakfast, I found a dark room. Not very welcoming. This hotel has been in the area for a number of years and it is showing its age. As I stated, it was less expensive then the only other option in Anamosa, but it was overvalued for the quality of the accommodation.
