I checked in and found that I was in a handicapped accessible room. The bed was basically very near the floor which I understand for those that need this accommodation however I was staying for a week for the funeral of my Mother and it did not work for me or the members of my family that I knew would visit me in my room. I asked Nate at the front desk if I could move rooms and he said no because I booked thru a third party. I begged for an exception, he refused. He did offer me a new room for full price per night. I verified with him that this would be an additional per night on top of what I had already paid for the room. He said yes! He also said this also had to do with the fact that they were booked into the following week. Also.. not true. I finally spoke with Erica who did put me in another room. The other issue is only suites have refrigerators. I have medicine that needs refrigerated so then that became a problem also. She at least offered to put my medicine in a refrigerator that is behind lock and key. That did not sound like a option for me either. A niece finally kept my medicine off property. Day 2 I asked for new towels and for my trash to be emptied. The lady that answered the phone was rude said they only do that every other day. No one at the front desk greeted me coming or going multiple times a day or even seemed polite. Overall a poor experience! Would not stay again.
