I want to give it a higher rating just because the young person checking us in was very busy and was foing his best. My review is based on our experience. We checked in at 7 and room keys did not work. I went back and he reprogrammed our keys. Still not working. He suggested we go for supper and he would have the battery changed in the locks. We got back at 8:30, still super busy and at 8:50 we were let in by another employee. Having only 1 employee tonight was not a good plan...

Just okay

The location was really nice. My only complaint is this hotel is supposed to be “smoke free” yet a “female” was smoking weed outside her room. Disgusting. The room itself was okay. Not very clean. There was food wrappers and hair in the bathroom and bed. The breakfast was really good. Eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, cereals ect good selection. I just hope people can be respectful and not smoke dope when it’s an illegal and a smoke free place. It’s disgusting and inconsiderate.

I would be willing to stay at the Windham again, but I wouldn't be looking forward to staying here again. The price was reasonable the continental breakfast was decent, the staff was accommodating, the pool and hot tub were excellent, but the beds were really stiff with no springs or give to them. The a.c. worked great, the room was clean and spacious, but I did not sleep well. We left another hotel which claimed that they had an indoor pool (but was ice cold) to come to Windham but ended up with worse beds. I wish I could get the best of both worlds with a good bed, a good indoor pool and a great price, but I'm still looking for the triple combo.

Where’s the cleaning lady?

The hotel is very good, and so is the staff at front desk . But the maids didn’t clean our room the next day. We woke up in the morning and got out and when we came back, by 5 pm, the room was untouched: dirty towels , beds unchanged, all the trash pulling out from the can, used cups… they simply forgot to go to our room. I complained, the girl from front desk went there, apologized and took pictures . She kindly brought us cups, towels and so. But it was an awful experience, the room was a mess.

Worse Hotel Experience

We were on the road all day my wife was sick & we needed a place to rest. This place was a NIGHTMARE! Our room was in the back on the 2nd floor. I got my wife & 2 dogs to the room to find out the Keys DIDN’T WORK. I went back to the lobby which was now EMPTY. I sat there for OVER 20 mins. I Yelled at the top of my lungs, called the phone (never got picked up) & even walked behind the desk & KNOCKED on the door. Finally the woman that checked me in came out of some random door YELLING at me, Needless to say I cancelled my reservation but you know how that goes. THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! Also there were 2 other customers in the lobby that also were trying to cancel their reservations
