This property was nice, the shuttle service was convenient and bottled water is only $1. The night entertainment could use a little help and the food service at the cafe is slow. Overall not a bad place to stay.

The staff at the property were mostly good. The only issue I had is that they weren't very informative about transportation from the facility into town. I had an excursion scheduled one morning and reuqested a taxi to get me to the meeting spot the night before. The taxi wasn't there that morning and the staff person did not act with urgency to get me to the meeting spot in time. A guest who rented a car offered to drive me. It was 5 minutes away at the Castries Market. I found out from other guests who were on the excursion that the shuttle from the hotel dropped them off and was pickin them up. The staff should have offered me the same when I told them where I needed to go the night before, but they didn't. The resort was clean but boring. There was literally not even music playing during the day. Im used to resorts having entertainment.They had a DJ or a band for 2 hours 9-11 and that's it. The all inclusive did not include bottled water or lattes. I had to pay $1USD for each water and $4USD for each latte. The alcoholic beverages were very good though.The bed was not comfy and the shower was small. The shuttle to Viggie beach does not run on Sunday or Wednesday. I had to take a taxi on sunday, which I was told was $10USD, but the guy tried to charge $20. I refused to be overcharged.The area around the resort does not aapear to be safe and the roads are narrow and bad. The sound of barking dogs from outside the property can be heard all day and night, which is annoying.

The staff were friendly, very clean, very chill. The shuttle needs to be booked in advance but was very easy to change. Hummingbird needs to be booked in advance, lovely food. I would recommend booking excursions through the hotel. We did the 9-4pm Catamaran, brilliant. Thursday night BBQ, wonderful. All around laid back atmosphere.

The people and service were amazing. You have a beautiful country and the people are so fun and kind. Hats off to the chef. The food was the best I've ever had on a resort. I would suggest getting your towels early! They tend to run out by lunch time.

The food was absolutely amazing each and every meal. Everything was fresh and tasty!! Best all inclusive food I've ever had. Anybody else ever have a self serve bar by the pool?? This place has it. Dream resort if you're looking to disconnect from it all! Thanks for the great memories!

The grounds and overall atmosphere was fantastic. The staff was exceptional! The room itself need some better cleaning/ maintenance- caulking around shower was moldy, paint needed to be touched up etc. The fact that they consider 2 twin beds pushed together to make a king bed was a surprise and very uncomfortable to say the least.

Wonderful hotel with the best set of staff I have ever come across. Maybe the rooms, which were kept spotless by housekeeping, could maybe benefit from a little TLC but we only used ours for sleeping and getting ready so not really a problem. Do not hesitate to book!

The staff carries this property! The staff makes the entire experience even better. They are welcoming, great communication and action driven. The property itself, is cute and cozy. They have the right amount of entertainment while still allowing you to be able to rest by 11p. There are alot of food options and the views of the city are a true dream!

The staff and team at the Bel Jou Hotel was absolutely amazing. From the time we walk into the time we left, we felt extremely welcomed and appreciated. And the activities on the resort... Wow... make sure you ask about the mixology class.... The only thing I felt that could have been better regarding the hotel was the bathrooms. The shower reminded me of being in a cruise ship.
