We liked the view of the mountain and lifts. Evening attendant was rude. He saw me after we had checked in. He mentioned he still needed our car plate number. He asked me for it and then snorted sarcastically, "Or I guess you'll have to ask your husband". I went to the windows and read the plate to him. I didn't appreciate this little man's attitude. I guess it kind of ruined it for me. My husband did not find him very friendly either.

Incredible stay at a very high quality establishment at and incredibly low price. You’d never get this level of experience for the price if it weren’t so remote. Take advantage of it. Highly recommend.

We got a suite with a balcony and 2 queen beds breakfast included. Room looked nice at first glance, but once we settled in we found the gross stains on the furniture and the shower smelled of urine so strongly we didnt use it. At check out on the 13th of October we asked the lady at the front to go over our charges since we didn't realize "breakfast included" only meant a portion of your money is put towards it and you are responsible for anything over and above the option included with the room. We expected a buffet, so it was an error on our part. Regardless, the clerk was beyond rude and wouldn't go through the charges with us, she simply stated i dont know what you booked. The clerk we checked in with was extremely pleasant and helpful though. The property is in the middle of construction which we didn't know and are thankful there wasnt any rain otherwise youd be walking through mud from the parking lot to the front door. Considering the amount we paid, i wouldn't reccomend it. It was too gross and she was too rude.

We got our room for a reasonable rate as it’s off season and the hotel is surrounded with construction. Construction noise was not at all an issue. My husband has allergies to feathers/animal hair. We’d brought our own pillows but when he laid down on the duvet allergens were sent into the air. He immediately started to react and we realized we hadn’t brought any medication, plus we both had been drinking. The guy at the desk originally told me he wasn’t able to hand out medications and there wasn’t any for sale at the desk nor was there a cab service to get it delivered. I told him this wasn’t acceptable as my husband now in the shower was going to have a very hard of not impossible sleep. He than called his manager who had him switch out all feather items in the room which, with the shower relieved his symptoms (at least enough until we could get medication). Our room was small but lovely. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower. The staff were all very nice to deal with. I imagine once the construction is done it will become quite pricey but is an excellent option for ski in and out.

The hotel was excellent and the room was fantastic. Yes the resort is current being developed but it didn't diminish our experience. The only odd thing was that during my Expedia booking it gave the option to pay for a breakfast buffet....which i did....but there was no buffet.

Red Mountain is a half-built ski village. It will be nice when it's finished but for now it's a noisy, muddy building site with poor access roads shared with heavy equipment. The Josie is brand new with large, clean, well equipped rooms and great off-season (i.e. not winter) rates. The restaurant offers a limited menu but the food is excellent, the restaurant staff are friendly and professional, and the prices are not outrageous.
