The bath rooms need updating, there are no grab handles in showers. toilets are too low and there are no vent fans in the bathrooms. Every thing seemed clean

This Best Western is always a good place to stay when I am in Trail...no issues with the hotel at all. The location is so-so...but, its Trail and, although I grew up here, Trail is what it is.

We needed a place to stay during a series of hospital visits to a relative. We needed a room adapted for a person with limited mobility but could not reserve it online. On arrival, the desk clerk saw immediately what our needs were and altered our reservation to ensure we were able to check in to the appropriate room without extra charges. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the heating system up to the task without being too noisy. The breakfast room offers a limited menu and the steakhouse while excellent is not a place for regular evening meals for families. Despite being located on the principal artery of the town, traffic noise did not prevent getting a good rest.

This was just a one-night stay during a recent road trip, but a VERY pleasant find. The front desk clerk Kamil was great. Our guest room was large, with a comfortable bed. The property also has a very nice hot tub. The biggest surprise was the spectacular Columbia Steakhouse attached to the hotel. The decor is high-end steakhouse from top to bottom. Chef Stephen McKenzie is a real asset to this hidden gem!

So clean! I’m a former housekeeping manager for a different best western, so of course I critique every hotel I stay in. This was definitely the cleanest I’ve ever had. The vents had no dust, the light fixtures were clean, even the top couple inches of the bathroom wall where there is usually condensation spots was clean! I couldn’t believe it so I started really looking and all I could find was maybe a few weeks worth of dust on top of the tv. I was very impressed. Also, great location for everything in downtown trail. Staff were friendly, and having the little liquor store on site was nice. I will for sure stay here again!
