Beautiful rustic cabin that was a unique stay but not for everyone. Fireplace, electric lights but limited plug sockets. Wifi in cabin VERY slow, not really functional in room. Dinner in lodge very good. Bed as very soft and a challenge to get out of.
So a good stay but not more than 1-2 nights for me.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very rustic
Cabins are very rustic and old fashion. Poor WIFI but in very remote area. Toilet in our cabin kept running everytime you flushed so had to fix each time you used it. Did not feel real comfortable with staff, seemed very stuffy and not sure if they really were glad we were there. Kinda fake friendly, maybe the Canadian way,we are from US.
Lack of communication. Left 2 voicemails and 3 emails prior to our stay but we never heard back. The main lodge is beautiful but the cabins are very average. The bathrooms are the worst. While there everyone was very friendly and the food in the dining room was great! Free coffee is nice too.
Beautiful cabin and lodge. Over 100 years old, extremely well maintained, very comfortable and cozy.
Food was excellent, well above our expectations.
What a great alternative to the typical large hotel style.
Staff are amazingly courteous and helpful. Dinner was fantastic, food and service were above our expectations.
I wish the cabins had a mini fridge. Would highly recommend!
The cabins are true 100 year old structures, but updated windows electric outlets etc. convenient location just off 1A. The staff were tremendously nice and helpful.
We enjoyed staying in the historic cabin on the property. It was quaint, lovely, as described and quite comfortable. One thing of note is that being an historic cabin with a fireplace it gives off a smoky aroma throughout the cabin. Outlets are limited but were sufficient for our needs. The entire property is run on a generator, so it makes sense that the number of outlets would be limited.

Could not cancel reservation and no one was helpful
This is a wonderful place to stay the individual lodges are a unique experience. Bed was super comfortable. With a gorgeous wood fireplace if required. Bathroom was clean and practical. The restaurant food was top notch. Remember to book ahead as the dining room fets booked up. The whoke area was wonderful. Tea and coffee on tap. Perfect place. Will visit again.
Very beautiful area and friendly staff. The tap water was pure which was very cool. Only gripe was the generator noise but that’s understandable. Having the fireplaces ready to light up was a very nice detail. Lots of little details made for an excellent experience.
