Sept 17-18, 2024. Terrible stay. In a bad area, I did not sleep well at all. This is a cheap old hotel, literally 1 block off interstate built in 80s at latest. Noisy, and I had silicon earplugs in and a white noise machine going. No pool although advertised it had a pool, it was drained right after labor day The rates charged were jacked up due to a weather travel advisory to over $140 plus taxes, for an out dated economy hotel. On its website it said $125 for the night..Expedia, really? If it wasnt so late I would never have stayed there. The first room they gave me had people in it! Scared the daylights out of me. The blackout curtains had one side jaggedly cut such that the daylight woke me up. The shower head had orange mold on it. The bathtub filled with water from shower, opening and closing the plug didnt matter. I did not use the shower. After turning off the water I see the back of the bathroom door, peeling paint. Just shoddy. I had a noon checkout. No do not disturb sign. Twice a maid knocks on door, first time waking me, second time the head housekeeper is there at 11:30 asking me if Im staying another day. I replied no, I have a noon checkout. She looks at her list, asks me will I be out by then....unbelievable...I started laughing as she pushed the door open and is looking in the room seeing I m all packed up. Unbelievable !

The staff were all really kind and helpful and the coffee was excellent. The hotel itself seems to have had an exterior facelift but indoors it's pretty shabby and rundown. It's not in a great location... I did not feel safe to walk my dogs around there Even in daylight. But if all you want is a place to sleep that's convenient to the highway, which was all I needed, then why not.
