I wanted to like this more as I thought some of the staff was nice, but there were problems. The smell for two days was horrific. What is that odor, the sewer? Nobody apologized for this. We had someone coming to our room at 8:15 to clean the room while we were sleeping. How can this be? The restaurant and bar operation needs help. They need to be trained, and provided support. Long wait times - it took us an hour to get drinks from the pool bar after it was ordered, and I had gone two different times. It just takes too long and it makes you want to get in a taxi and go somewhere else. It would do so much better if it was properly managed. Worn out menus- why so limited in quantity and falling apart? Breakfast trays empty-the items should be reviewed, replenished Cleaning of tables - lack of tables - folding tables being used It’s Colombia, why no coffee bar or expresso? I asked to speak to the mgr. I even wrote it on the receipt. only spoke to someone else who I found by the desk. (He was helpful but generally I almost feel bad for the employees. Training, support, leadership. Condition of property needs upkeep, sometimes it is simple as painting. Sorry, but to compete in this market, it really needs to improve.

The good: hotel employees are nice in the dining area and around the hotel. Food is good. The bad: cleanness is not the best. There are little mosquitoes and bugs in the bedrooms and they will bite you. When you complains about it they don't do anything.

When arrival they gave us room in the older building smelling dusty and fungi. Air conditioning leaking water in the floor. After claiming for a better room they move us to another building very clean and nice. The dining area was very very hot, difficult to enjoy a nice breakfast
