EXCELLENT HOTEL STAY

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I was a little reluctant to book here at first because the street it’s located on can be a little intimidating (drunks at night and such), but we had no issues and the service was excellent. The room is the most spacious I’ve stayed at in Cartagena, including 5 star hotels. When my departing flight was delayed, they allowed me to use the gym for a couple of hours to eat up time. I will definitely be back to stay here

Really enjoy my stay. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and was very helpful in assisting me in navigating activities as a solo traveller. The junior suite was very clean and quite roomy. The location was perfect and centralized. Walking distance to the Wall. I would stay at this property again.

Amazing boutique hotel with the best staff ever. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel at home from the first moment we came in. Amazing breakfast, we had dinner twice at the hotel and it was perfect after a long day outside. The private pool suite was exactly what I expected. (the bathroom is a bit too dark at night) Thank you again for everything. The hotel is 2 blocks from the historic center in a very quiet street. I would stay here if ever decide to go back to Cartagena

The hotel was clean, my housekeeper Anya did an excellent job on a daily in my room. All the staff were friendly but Sara at front desk was exceptional. She was always ready to help, always with a smile, very friendly and attentive to our needs. I would stay here again.

My stay at Mood Matuna was absolutely lovely. The room was beautiful, spacious, and extremely inviting—it was spotless and felt like a true escape. The staff was incredibly attentive and hospitable, creating a very safe and welcoming environment from start to finish. I felt completely relaxed and at ease throughout my stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, close to everything you might need. There are supermarkets, local shops, bakeries, and even a shopping mall just minutes away. It’s not too far from the famous Clock Tower and the Walled City, making it an ideal base for exploring Cartagena’s charm. Tour guides and excursions are readily available in the area at reasonable rates, and there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. This is a beautiful hotel with exceptional customer service and an amazing team. I would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!

The property is in the heart of the walled city. It’s perfectly positioned to find plenty of food, music, art, and vendors. During the day it’s very loud but at night it quiets down. The hotel staff were very accommodating. They ordered taxis for us even when we weren’t at the hotel. The VIP wine wasn’t great but it was a nice special touch. The room was very spacious but the bathrooms are super small. I had a great experience and I felt very safe. Also, keep in mind that there is a shared balcony so if that bothers you, maybe bring a door stopper. The beach was like 2 miles away. $5 USD taxi ride. And EVERYBODY is trying to sell you something. The room service in the hotel was nice and timely. I’ll definitely be returning
