I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and concierge. Everyone was extremely helpful , kind and accomdating with some request. What i didnt like is the persistence of us paying before check out. We overheard another staff member informing another couple they can pay at check out while we were not given that same option. And our hotel seemed to be more than what we were quoted on Expedia without incidentals.

Beautiful old colonial style building within walking distance of the charming streets, plazas and restaurants. The area felt safe and clean and the service in the hotel was first class. A special mention to Jhordan (concierge), Luis (restaurant) and Jorge (rooftop bar) for their friendliness and exceptional customer service. A real credit to the hotel. Rooms were impeccably clean and well laid out and it really was a luxurious place to stay while exploring Cartegena.

Great stay in Cartagena

Nice hotel. Very well located. Gorgeous rooftop pool !! Great breakfast buffet + "a la carte" menu (included in the price for the room). The mattress was very confortable. Great service all around. On the downside: the bathroom was very small, and had no vent to remove the steam from the shower. The room had a musty smell, which is probably due to the fact that our room was on the 1st floor (which is actually below ground, and not at street level). I'm guessing that if you have a room on the upper floors, you may not have the same musty smell. Tip to the wise: bring a scented candle or a "plug-in" to remove the smell. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel.

Wonderful staff beautiful location in the historic center! Very walkable to all the major sites except for Boca grande you need to take a taxi to the beach. Taxi tend to be a rip off just like every place in the world your 4000 pesos to the US dollar for that reason this is a very cheap location to travel. I plan on being back in a couple three months and I would definitely stay at this hotel again😊
