Our stay at bastion luxury was very good, friendly staff, good service and beautiful location. We had a great time. Only complaint was, I was surprised it was permitted to bring glass cups inside the pool which I thought it was standard safety precautions generally in all pools. Various staff members saw a group with glass containers in the pool and said nothing, even a staff member brought champagne glasses inside the pool for a guest. I was surprised to see that otherwise was a great stay.

First of all, the facilities are beautiful. We loved that it was in the middle of the action in la ciudad amurallada. The breakfast offer left me wanting to stay an additional day just so I could taste everything. The staff is very respectful and helpful. Pool area is gorgeous and perfect to escape the cartagena heat. 10/10 stay!

My husband and I stayed here given that we had previously celebrated our pre-wedsibg cocktail a couple of years ago in their rooftop. *Negative* I mentioned that we has chosen the hotel to celebrate our anniversary prior to arrival and also twice to the General Manager and also the concierge and I didnt even get a note in my bedroom, a chocolate or any anything… they didnt even offer a romantic dinner setting for us to book (bare in mind that in Colombia, September is the love and frienship month, hence hotels offer this). They have a small gym with a treadmill, an elliptical and a bike. The treadmill was not working and the overall equipment was old Could improve the control on the access to the rooftop (who can be there. Eg. Locals with hotel guests). *Positive* Food and restaurant bar service was superb. Kudos to Jorge and Kevin for always having a smile. Location is also one of the best ones in the old town. Super central and pne of the safest streets Swimming pool is very nice and the hotel is never packed

This hotel is 10/10. The staff are amazing. Make sure you get Jorge to make you a mean margarita! The location is prime and there’s plenty of awesome spots to dine/roam around.
