Bug

I found evidence of bed bug stains on mattress cover and a bug skeleton on shower curtain, kept it, showed front desk. Gave me new room w no such evidence but I itched all nite. Ugh Sadly I'm a. Expert after mom's assisted living got them. Pls call me. 301-351-2644. I'd like compensation for my anxiety.

This was a nice place to stay and we had access to where we needed to go. There was some destroyed buildings and a travel trailer permanetly parked in the parking lot, but other than that it was just fine.

Okay location.

Room had some newer furnishings but the area by the shower and behind the toilet was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable and hard but the pillows were nice. For the price, there should have been some kind of basic breakfast offering. Juice, coffee, yogurt, danish/muffin, fresh fruit.

Curtains did not block the exterior lights at night so was hard to sleep. I need a dark room. Coffee pot burner was terribly rust corroded and even the glass carafe had rust stains all over the bottom of it. The bottom of shower curtain was terribly stained or just plain dirty. Saw different smudges of whatever here and there on walls. Glad I brought a heavy blanket due to reading a review prior to staying as yes, the sheet and bed cover (which I typically try not to use anyway) were extremely thin. No blankets provided in room.

Quiet and clean.

This is a 2-star motel, in a rather remote section of the country. The room was clean. The man at the desk was very pleasant and helpful, and the place was quiet.

Pros: This was a great stay for a great price. Office staff was very friendly. Newly renovated, very clean rooms. Cons: Linens and comforters were very thin. Parking lot had trash in the landscaping beds, including hygiene products, for both days of our stay. Very poor seal around the door - you can see light coming in all the way around, which means anyone smoking in the parking lot, or any other smells outside are going to come in.

It was just ok. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable! They charged me for having a dog and I asked him why and he said they would have to thoroughly clean the room after we left, but the floor hadn’t even been swept when we got there. I don’t mind paying the extra, but when the floor is already dirty…not. If I’m being honest, the linens were substandard too!

Not a lot of options in this area, but the walls are paper thin, beds are uncomfortable, and no amenities. Our remotes didn’t work, the lamps had no light bulbs, and toilet didn’t work. It was okay, but wouldn’t recommend.

Clean and comfortable

Clean and really appreciate the fridge with a separate freezer as we travel with medicine that needs refrigeration. Bed was comfortable but could use a blanket. Door has gap that lets bugs in and lamp outlets need tightening so plugs stay in. I mention these things so the owners are aware and can fix them. We love staying here every year.

We had reserved 3 rooms… one of couples had terrible experience. 1st room had a toliet that didn’t work , no toliet paper. Next room very dirty spots on sheets in one bed, filthy shower floor, not at all clean. One of rooms had Tv didn’t work. Not the best experience
