First sign was when my husband was handed the TV remote at check-in. Then there's signs for extra fees for this and that posted every where. The room itself had a strong bleach smell and slightly dirty. The bed spread had cigarette burns in it and there was a cigarette smashed into the peep hole. I couldn't stay due to respiratory issues after entering for 5 minutes and was only able to get half of my money back.

Mold in our bathroom on the toilet and shower and lots of hair in our bed. A/C was super dirty and dusty. Room smelled like bleach and body odor.

I stayed at the Scandia Motel for almost a month. The staff are very friendly and took care of everything; the only thing I had to do was ask for an Internet code! The room was very clean, modern, and non-smoking. There is a smoking area on site and parking was really easy. What really stood out was the staff. When I saw them as I walked to my car, they often asked if I needed extra cleaning or towels; they took an interest in how my stay was going and if I wanted to extend. If I had been in town longer, I would have. I’ll stay here again, for sure.

I liked it's location. The room finishes were updated recently and fairly new. I didn't like the train noise, the slippery (grease from cleaning supplies I think) floors, and I couldn't use the Wi-Fi. Login was impossible with a low signal.

There was some roaches here. Very noisy and disturbing guests playing loud music outside and slamming room doors. The train was loud and could be heard after 11 pm sometimes.

Train runs regularly behind the motel. The walls were dirty, which, in the bathroom made me question what it was on the walls. Otherwise it was cleaned well.

Treated terribly by staff. Threatened by maintenance worker. Dirty room. TV didn’t work. No closets. Noisy. Bed was old and squeaky. Just a terrible place. Total ripoff.

Ive stayed here many times and was satisfied but this time was terrible. The floor was filthy i couldnt walk barefoot on it and the towels were heavily previously stained with a grey material. Gross. I dont know if you get worse customer experience because you have a dog but they charge $35 a night exyra to stay in a room with filthy floors and stained towels.

Ooh, that smell
Battery minimal room with sewer smell in shower that permeated the room. Ironing board was filthy staining my shirt. Otherwise adequate.
