The room was just ok - nothing to write home about. I went down to the front desk to ask a question, and the lady behind the counter looked right at me after I said hello and walked away into her office. Um....not ok. I booked a different hotel for the next day when I came back into town.

Excellent stay in a handicapped accessible room. The room was quite large and well appointed. Very comfortable beds. Roll in shower (as requested) was much appreciated.

Room was clean & A/C was cold
I was nervous when I first arrived because lobby area was hot ( june in NM is no joke ) But the A/C in the room was nice & cold! Almost too cold sometimes! Had to adjust temperature. Beds are comfy room was clean. A/C worked well. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Artesia is not a pretty area and there’s nothing to do but sweat in the heat and dust storms. But this hotel was great.

The hotel is nice, but the air-conditioning is very noisy, and the location of the shampoo and soap in the shower makes it a bit narrow to stand under the shower. But the worst is to get a receipt. I have never had a problem to get a receipt before but it’s been a few days now and I haven’t managed to get one yet, I need one for my expense report.

Cockroaches!! Informed the staff and they killed the roach and ensured the ‘cleanliness.’ Only to find another one by the bed! The pool was cracked in an area and was closed! Tried asking for an alternative solution but no response back to me. They suggested the water park, but didn’t offer to at least pay for my boys. For the price of the nights we stayed this place was very disappointing. At a Hilton Resorts Member this facility was very disappointing.

The washer was broken but nobody notified us upon arrival till I put clothes and detergent in it and it wouldn’t start. The breakfast was disgusting and low quality. The swimming pool had bugs in it and all around the pool area. It took 15 minutes just to check in. All these issues are fixable and would a good hot they just all seem to not care to much at this facility.

The room was fine enough, the problem I’m having is that they charged my card through hotels.com AND a completely separate full charge as if we had two rooms or something, when I called they said it was a system glitch and that Cynthia would reverse the extraneous charge made to my card, but it’s been 2 weeks and still has not been credited back. The morning breakfast also kinda sucked.
