Fairly new, great location!
Clearly a new/modern hotel on the south end of town. Very average buffet breakfast, courteous staff and very convenient location. My TV was not working so i called the front desk several times and no one answered so I went to the front desk and no one was there. Remembering seeing the front desk person outside the previous day i went outside and sure enough there he was. He came in and immediately began trying to find the problem/solution. After a few minutes of playing around he found the cable box was not plugged in. One other small issue, hotel rooms shouldn't have the tiniest garbage cans in the world!

What a great place to stay! Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well maintained facility. Very nice breakfast and clean dining area. Room was very clean and well maintained.

The receptionist was not very helpful. The elevator was out which we were not aware of which was a medical issue for us. Had we known we would have done something different. We had to go outside and take the emergency stairs. That door was broken and a security hazard. The room was dirty. In fact if you walked on the carpet barefooted the bottom of your feet got dirty. We had to ask for a remote and shower curtain.

My trip was a one day visit. The motel was clean and comfortable. I took the time to drive around the town. It is a beautiful place. The downtown area is particularly nice.

The staff is very friendly
The room was just dirty the sheets were dirty the floor was dirty we got moved to a different room that bathroom floor was disgusting and they only changed our linen once and we stayed there 3 days. Should I manager just said sorry.

Clean, Friendly but service can be improved
Hotel is very clean and staff was friendly. However, hotel operations and service can be improved. Corners were cut to save money. Ice machine on 1st floor is broken and the elevator is out of service. No water and no towels in the the gym. Breakfast service can be improved. When breakfast opens at 6am, most of the main breakfast items (sausage, eggs, yogurt, milk) run out at 7am. For those showing up 7-9am, you are out of luck. You just have what’s left since they will not refill for the day. Also, service can be improved by not having one person working behind the counter and working the breakfast area at the same time.

Good hotel with the basics.
Great hotel if planning to go to Carlsbad Caverns. Has all the basics. A bit of noise (someone running in the halls woke us up) but good place. Coffee dispenser is like milking a cow. It’s broken but the manager says it’s fine - just pump it 30 times to fill your cup half full! Breakfast was comical that way, watching guests help each other figure out the broken coffee dispenser that the manger says is just fine. lol
