Not a bad hotel, especially for the price. But the beds were really lumpy and could use a new mattress! Also didn’t help my sleep that the room was next to the generator because the noise was awful.

Great for a weekend stay
Spacious room and great decor. Whilst there was a large shower, it only had a rainfall shower and no hand held one, which wasn't very practical. Large car park and easy access into Cardiff by cab.

We have used this Hotel on a number of years and have been fairly satisfied but this year we were in room 323 the bathroom wash basin plug was jammed and unable to open to release the water, The lights in the bedroom would only work when the bathroom lights were switched on so if you needed to use the bathroom in the night you had to navigate in the pitch black There was also a unbearable intermittent noise above the room which would start approximately every 10 minutes & last for 5 minutes throughout the night, For the exorbitant cost of 2 nights stay we are extremely disappointed

Few issues first room was noisy due to water tanks above ceiling for the whole hotel kept filling up so asked to move rooms. Pillows very thin asked for additional one and took 2 hours to be delivered. Bar prices very high £16 for a glass of wine and a pint. Car park is £8 per night but says free on the web site

Friendly staff and comfy room!
It was a welcoming stay. The staff were all friendly from the reception to bar staff to housekeepers - nothing was too much. Bed was super comfy and the shower was nice. Room was a good size and the AC actually worked. Would definitely stay again.
