Bogdan in the restaurant was excellent, superb service, the dinner we had was good but not great. Breakfast wasn’t good, bacon dry, eggs solid and service wasn’t good. Room was hot and when turned down to 19 degrees which was as low as it goes still too hot.

Nice new hotel in town centre

Lovely new hotel in the city centre. Ideal location if visiting Rodney Parade football stadium which is a short walk away. Well furnished rooms.

Great city centre hotel, but need more attention..

Lovely hotel, but a few hicups. Not normal tea on the tea tray, had to go down to reception for some. Room temperature we fould not controll . Breakfast was definitely not the best ive had at a mercury hotel. Very littel choice. No hash browns, bacon just left out under lights to long so it was hard.

Room upgrade

I have been to the hotel quite a few times so thought I’d treat my partner to the prestige room. It was nearly twice the price to book and essentially was the same as the standard room, bar a few sundries. The room itself was comfortable, but the hike in price did not equate what it had to offer in my opinion. Plus the kettle did not switch off which lead to it boiling over and soaking my work clothes.
