This property is dated and needs to be modernised. Safe didn’t work and reception said there was nothing they do about it. Replace it might be a good start. Aircon didn’t work properly and was noisy. Shower was not separate and in a bath. Positives were breakfast was decent. But to top it all party central is outside of the hotel and it’s difficult to sleep. Not a place I will ever stay again, £350 this cost for two nights and that included parking. Overpriced and not the standard I expect from the Marriott.

Disappointing stay. Room not ready until.4pm. Make up.compact from.previous occupant on bedroom floor. Cleanliness wasn't great. Disturbed before 9am by housekeeping as they needed people to check out early as Billy Joel was playing that evening, the hotel was full and the prices astronomical. You don't have to check out until noon,but we were disturbed twice

Right next to the Cardiff Central railway station and at the city centre, which is very convenient and walkable. However, it was loud during the night due to night clubs/bars across the street. Not the best soundproofing, noise went through even I was on the 8th floor. Good quality overall, clean, although my room looked a bit old, the windows were not very clean from the outside. Breakfast provided by Browns was good, a bit overly expensive for the variety offered.

Comfortable clean hotel
Great that we managed to check in a little early. Room was clean and tidy, would have liked two chairs rather than having to sit on the bed. Breakfast was ok, lacked fruit other than a fruit cocktail. Bar staff need training on drinks, asked to a tequila sunrise ( a very basic cocktail) go something total different, used orange squash and cranberry. Tasted not bad but not what was requested. Overall enjoyed our stay and will be back next year.
