Wonderful Hotel For A Long Overdue Homecoming!
I was born in nearby Herrin, and this was my first time back in the area after over 40 years. I was excited to be going through this area, so we took the opportunity to stay here a night on our trip back home. This hotel was super comfortable, and the staff was amazing! Super courteous and kind! If I get to come through here again in the near future (hopefully not another 40 years!), we will definitely stay here.

Very good breakfast. Interference with cable system detracted from in-room relaxation. As someone less than 5'10", shower heads were set waaay too high. Cookies at check-in is a nice touch.

Great value and conveniently located
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Marion, IL. The hotel is conveniently located and is only minutes away from the lovely historic downtown and Civic Center. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were easy and hassell-free. The complimentary breakfast was hot and delicious, well-presented, and constantly monitored for cleanliness and needed refills. We loved having chocolate chip cookies available for a snack after our evening out in town. We will definitely stay here next time we visit the city.

We have stayed in this hotel many times as it is a central meeting place for family get togethers. Since the hotel does not have a conference/meeting room, we often get together in the breakfast area which gets loud with everyone talking. This time we were told it was too loud and not meant for a visiting area. This hotel is fine for overnight stays, but for get togethers, it's not the best. We will be moving to a different hotel that accommodates groups better.
