The staff was so friendly and patient with my very rudimentary Spanish! Comfortable beds, lovely pool and excellent location in the tiny town of Capileira. Good value too!
Lovely traditional hotel in a very small village with fantastic views.
Inside the hotel was a more modern touch, comfortable beds and views over the main centre.
Selection of restaurants all reasonably priced for the amount of food served.
Good base to explore the mountains more.
Only downside if there is one, is that the main carpark can get very busy so spaces are a scarce.
I enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel. I was immediately struck by the friendliness of the lady on reception who I suspect was the owner. Nothing was too much trouble.
My room, though compact, was totally adequate and there was nothing 'missing' in either the bedroom or in the bathroom.
In fact, everything was of a high quality and there was a very nice little extra in the form of artisan made chocolates. Delicious!!
In short, I hope I can return one day as I enjoyed my 24 hours in this lovely village and I know where I will be staying!
This is a lovely hotel in the mountains. It is in the centre of the village with shops bars restaurants and parking nearby. A modern hotel with great helpful staff, most of whom speak English, good breakfast and very quiet. The area is safe and extremely scenic and good walks all around. A long bendy road to get there but it is worth it when you arrive.
This place is wonderful. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and Capileira is an absolute gem. We will be back as soon as we can.
My family and I visited Capileira on a hiking trip and had an excellent stay. All the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a central location.
this superb little hotel right i the heart of the town was a pleasure to stay in. The pool area and gardens a delight as were all the staff we met. Its primality owned so not a corporate. It is very homely, the breakfast every morning was laid out and a treat. Clean and fresh with excellent hygiene. We hope to return soon to this hotel and the area for walking and chilling.
Nice boutique property, clean, modern, quiet location close to beautiful views of Sierra Nevada mountain & bars/restaurants & free parking. Friendly staff & nice breakfast for a reasonable price.
Very tidy and well run hotel, in older building but completely stripped out and new on the inside. Good air conditioning (and I guess heating in the winter) and nice bathrooms. Breakfast cheap at 5 Euros but only average. Nice large clean swimming pool, but some pool side furniture needs replacing. Beds way too hard for me. If it wasn't for the hard beds it would be 5 *. Good local restaurants very close.
Rural hotel in a mountainous district. Excellent price/quality relationship. Only minor gripe was the late time for breakfast (08:30), which doesn't really work for the first bus up the mountain (also 08:30).
Lovely hotel - pleasant staff - fabulous location. Excellent restaurant beside it. Would have liked freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast and a chopped fresh fruit bowl - otherwise a good breakfast.
Leave the beaches, the mountains are the place to.
Our third time in Capiaira. A pretty mountain village that is both friendly and welcoming. It's an inexpensive place to spend a few days. The food (in the village) ranges from rustic but good to very good but still reasonably priced.
