We asked for a pet room as we have one dog. It couldn’t have been better for us, as there was a patio door out to a grassy area!! Lots of noise from the room upstairs, and we asked for an iron and ironing board but never received it.

A no frills place to lay your head…. Very clean, quiet, and convenient. Excellent bed and updated bathroom. 20 minute easy drive to Banff but must pay park entrance fee which is good for two days. Recommend for a low cost accommodation.

The price for this property was too high, especially since there wasn't even an iron in the room. It lacked amenities and basic services, yet the rate was comparable to a four-star hotel.

We liked that we could easily walk around and see the little shops and that there were places to eat or rent bikes. Northwinds was a bit expensive but isnt everything in that area! We had everything we needed for our stay. Its an older building but was renovated. Staff was friendly.

We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed Canmore. It was very similar to Banff, but much less crowded.
