The hotel is conveniently located, close to all amenities and only short drive to Banff. The lobby is fantastic, very picturistic and welcoming. We booked a family room for a family of 6, with a mountain view. There are 2 queen beds and pull-up sofa on the closed balcony and an actual small outdoor balcony. The bathroom is tiny and can use some deep cleaning. There is no separate sink in the room and no kitchenette. The design of the room is old fashioned. There is an option to pre order packed breakfast ( we didn't like it, plain courason, granola and yogurt, apple and orange juice). Bottom line , the price and location were great, the picturistic lobby was a great bonus. Won't be booking again though.

Will not revisit. Anniversary disappointment

The initial service was really good and helpful. Also they came to fix the TV which just needed resetting. However stained towels, the room was uncomfortably hot all the time and if you used the air con then it just blew a tornado and was noisy. Left the door and window open but only helped a little. The bed was very uncomfortable too. Even went to get snacks from the vending machine but all it had when I finally found it was three random bags of chips and nothing else!! Sad that this was an anniversary trip and did not live up to expectations.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights for a very affordable rate thanks to Hotels.com (rate on hotel website was significantly higher). It was certainly worth the price we paid. Our room had a fireplace and a small patio. We also enjoyed their nightly snacks, games and social hour in the foyer. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Hotel might have been renovated recently because the rooms/paint seemed new but the carpet is in need of replacement. We would stay here again.

Fantastic property with lots of charm! Wine and cheese complimentary hour was a great touch and the $5 to go brown bag breakfast was amazing. Clean and quiet. Great staff. Walk to downtown. Perfect!

Older property but mountain views were lively. Beds and linens were wonderful. The morning bag breakfast for purchase was great featuring local businesses. Loved the wine idea on friday and saturdays however 7 pm felt too late as most people out for dinner by that time. Had a great stay and would recommend to others.
