We stayed with 3 kids. Very CLEAN, beautiful, safe and fiendly place. Area of the beach and pool were cleaned every single day. The food was amazing. And for kids is also big variety of food. Rooms were clean and had everything what you need dishes, papertowels, refrigerator full of beer, soda and water. They also have different activities for kids including Aqua Park. Very recommend that place for family stay!!!.

The royal sands was sold to holiday inn, the quality of the beer and food collapsed, we had 4 reservations and we decided to buy beer at the convenience store instead of what they had, even asking to pay for it they didn’t have choices. Elevators not working, some for more than 6 months there are 5 elevators 3 not working, service elevator 2. 1 out of service. Less personnel to assist near the pool We went there 2 years ago and like it, now “ WE WILL NOT BE BACK “ Closed the captains cove forever

The Royal Sands is always a great experience. This vacation was no exception. The only negative was one waiter Fansico in the Club Bistro our small party did not figure to provide as large of a tip and he made no effort to provide even the minimum amout if service. So unfortunate because the meal was outstanding in spite of Francisco.

**Review of The Sand Resort** I recently stayed at The Sand Resort and overall, I found the experience to be quite good. The service was attentive and friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The resort itself was relaxing, and the staff really contributed to a welcoming environment. However, I felt the dining options were lacking in variety. While the food was decent, it could greatly benefit from incorporating a broader selection, such as Japanese, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisines. I was surprised to find no burritos or hard tacos, especially considering this is Mexico and the resort claims to specialize in those dishes. Additionally, the drinks were quite watered down, and premium alcohol options came with extra charges—I ended up paying $10 for each drink. I also want to mention the beach conditions. While Cancun typically boasts beautiful weather, we encountered a significant amount of seaweed in the ocean during our stay. Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be any efforts to clean it up, which might be off-putting for those hoping to swim in clearer waters. In summary, The Sand Resort offers a pleasant stay with great service, but there are areas that need improvement, particularly in food variety and beach maintenance. If you enjoy a laid-back vibe and don’t mind the seaweed, this resort could still be a decent choice for your vacation.

I stayed in this hotel because the rating was a 8.6. Which is usually a really nice rating o here, but really the hotel is nothing close to a 8.6. The facility is in bad shape. The elevators seemed out of a horror movie, they were so out of shape I wanted to take the stairs! Everything seemed like something out of an 80s movie. They were fixing the pool bars leaving only 1 pool bar available, out of supposedly 4 options. The only “good” part of the hotel were the staff. They were all helpfully and friendly, so kudos for them. If you are looking for an option to party this is not an option, everything is closed at 11:00 pm, even the bar. There is no music at the pool, no entertainment for younger couples. Food service takes an hour to get to your table. Literally you waist so much time waiting for your meal.

The lobby's smell was very intense. However, the staff and service was excellent. They did their best despite there being a hurricane. I appreciated their safety measures of checking our transportation company and driver's license information before we left. Antonio from room service was always so timely and friendly. Food wasn't the best but that is to be expected. Overall, my friends and I still had a great time.

Terrible customer service. Check in receptionist looks like we’re bothering her, Fernando with eye glasses made us feel so uncomfortable by giving us dirty look. Info session was waste of time. I would be ok with outdated hotel but horrible customer service is not acceptable. 4 times in Mexico and this is the only hotel I had bad experience. Food is so-so. Parnasus & Paradisus are much better in customer service you’d feel really on vacation. Not with Royal Sands.
