The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were so surprised at the level of cleanliness and how often we were checked on! Rooms were always well stocked and taken care of. Would definitely come back!

I stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula a few days ago, having made my reservation back in November. Unfortunately, my experience was a mix of positives and significant disappointments. To start, I had booked and paid for an ocean-view room well in advance, expecting to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean views. However, upon arrival, I was told the hotel was overbooked, and no ocean-view rooms were available. This was incredibly stressful, and after going back and forth—refusing to accept a garden-view room—the manager eventually stepped in, and suddenly, an ocean-view room became available. While I ultimately got the room I had paid for, dealing with this issue ruined half of my first day and left me feeling frustrated. Other areas of the hotel also fell short of expectations. The à la carte restaurants felt like cubicles without windows, and the food was underwhelming. Additionally, the mini-bar service was inconsistent—I had to request refills every day, and on my last day, despite multiple calls, my request was completely ignored. On the positive side, the buffet was excellent, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options daily. The service at the beach and bars was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff. Both the beach and pool areas were well-maintained and enjoyable.

our 50th anniversary stay was amazing.Staff members were top notch. Pedro at the front counter was such a nice polite young man. Moved us to another suite when our room wasn't ready. Rooms, food , grounds were amazing. Most of all the staff in all departments were amazing. Riu is should be proud of them all.

I liked the inclusivitu! Every type of food was offered in this very clean property. Starbucks-like coffee shop, sports bar and my favorite, the Italian Restaurant offered the best lambchops ever. Most of the staff was friendly. However this Violeta person who was allegedly in charge of PR had the audacity move my family's belongings to a new room without property. The sad part, she lacked the accountability when one fails to follow proper protocol which was disappointing. As we were there celebrating my niece's 21st birthday, we would have preferred the adult property but We had a great time even with the little people running around.
