A great family hotel!!

We do Mexico resorts often, so I always like trying new places. I booked this as the reviews were great for families. It really was. We loved our stay. We came here immediately after staying in a new 5 star resort. We would easily chose this one. Great food and drinks - Unlimited shrimp was awesome Excellent Service and very friendly staff Beach was awesome! Clear water, soft sand It's not a new property by any means but it has charm. Get the Oceanfront room. You are on and off the beach in seconds.

This resort is lovely and every single staff member was welcoming! Our room was beautiful, the beds were so incredibly comfortable, and our ocean front view was SPECTACULAR! Loved all the restaurants and the 24/7 bakery Café. Great pool and lovely beach.

It was an average family friendly resort. The food was decent and the drinks were watered down as they generally are in all inclusives but the staff was nice and helpful. The property is older so lots of things in our room just felt old like the outlets were falling out of the wall but we made it work. Also, there are like 4-5 restaurants on the property but they all had horrible wait times. We would check in at like 6:30PM and couldn't get tables until almost 9 or 10PM, it was annoying. The taco cart that's open during the day by the pool was amazing and delicious though! Anyways, you sure as hell get a good bang for your buck here, so if you're looking for a chill vacation that has good access to the beach and want to be in hotel zone without spending an obscene amount of money, this place is good.

Food: Buffet was good but dessert wasn’t that great no (didn’t try restaurants). All juices were awful and way too sweet. Beach: clean beach but waves (not hotels fault) Recreation: not enough stuff to do, a show each night, kids club was very limited, slides were under construction. Not enough chairs around the lobby bar area. Almost nothing to do on the one day it rained. Overall it was a fun but average stay.

We were constantly harassed to buy a massage. We bought a massage at check-in. We did an upgrade on the room as well at checkin that came with a cabana. The room was dingy and the door didn’t lock that led out to the beach. They moved us to a better room but then rented the cabana that we were supposed to have for the day. We did a couples massage and my husband’s massage was good but mine was the worst massage I have ever had. I wrote it in the comment card after and they didn’t say anything. We did an anti stress massage and I felt more stressed after the massage. He barely massaged anything and we had upgraded for an 80 minute massage. We are pretty good tippers and still tipped them but I would not get another one there. This is our second time at this property and the first time we had great massages. The food in the restaurants the first time were not good so we stuck with the buffet which was good last time and still pretty good this time. The service at the cabanas was so-so and we were tipping $3-4 each round for two people as well as tipping $5-10 for two people for dining. Most people were friendly. Probably not stay here again

I loved our stay at Wyndham Alltra! The food was exceptional, with various delicious dishes to suit every palate. There were so many fantastic options for kids, which made mealtime stress-free and enjoyable for the whole family. The buffet, à la carte restaurants, and snack bars were all top-notch. The staff was truly the highlight of our experience. They were warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and exceptional service. The resort itself was stunning, with clean and spacious rooms, beautiful pools, and a pristine beach. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, from fun water sports to relaxing spa treatments. The kids’ club was a lifesaver—it was well-organized and filled with engaging activities that our little ones adored. I also loved how family-oriented the resort is, offering something special for every age group. Whether we enjoyed the delicious meals, lounging by the pool, or taking part in the evening entertainment, everything exceeded our expectations. Overall, Wyndham Alltra provided a perfect balance of relaxation and fun, and we can’t wait to visit again!"

Had gluten free options for my wife, she has gluten allergy. Staff was great and maids did great job every day. Also there was no one trying to sell time shares. Looking forward in returning back to Cancun and staying at this wonderful place could not be more happy with the service.
