The stay at the resort was wonderful. The room we stayed in could use some updates in the bathroom but that wasn't a big deal for us. All staff at the resort are very kind and attentive. Everyone at the privileged lounge was exceptionally pleasant. The resort is well kept all around. Kids enjoyed the activites at the Daisy Club. Very family friendly place.

Nice property. So so food. So so service. The food was not great and for some reason they kept telling us the restaurants were full even when they weren't. We had some members of the staff yell at us and giving us attitude of we asked for menu modifications. There were loud parties going on until late at night that kept us awake. Wouldn't recommend this place.

The food was the biggest disappointment, even at the a la carte restaurants. Restaurant staff seemed (especially the hostesses) disorganized and not motivated. Route 66 was completely uneditable. The Mexican hot dogs at the poolside bbq were the best food all week. The room and view was very nice, but unfortunately I will not be returning to this resort.

Overall the resort was beautiful and we had a great time. We did have a problem with the hotel remodeling the room next door to us and the paint fumes were so strong in our room we had to leave the door open. Our clothes even smell like it. We only had 2 nights there and didn’t want to have the hassle of moving rooms, but it was not a relaxing night sleep with the smell.

We were very disappointed with our time at Ocean Coral. The day we arrived we were informed that starting at 3 pm to 7:30 there would be no food available. This is because you have to wake up at 8 am like youre at Disney world to try and get one of the seemingly 5 reservations available for each restaurant. So for everyone who checks in post 8 am prepare to be hungry. Or sit in your room for room service that may never come (happened 3 times) This was also couples with the staffs unwillingness to help and misinformation, we had multiple staff send us to two of the “no reservations” restaurants that were just completely closed that night. We had issue with the AC in one of the rooms where the screen on the wall would not even light up. They left us in a hot room over night then asked if maybe someone left the patio door open all night. Nope that wasn’t it. The hotels food is also completely inedible. All of it is unflavored and over cooked. The chicken breast used on the chicken sandwich is clearly a cutlet pounded within an inch of its life. To top it all off the rooms were infested with ants and unclean our shower was covered in hair the day we arrived. As well as over run by a family of raccoons who had absolutely no fear of people and I watched bite one guest. Over all not a great first all inclusive experience

The Resort was nice and enjoyable but not 5 star nice. Definitely 4 star. The beach currently is loaded with seaweed and they can’t keep up with removing the seaweed with how fast the ocean is bringing it in. The buffet food was ok, definitely much better food offered at the sit down restaurants. I recommend taking advantage of the privilege option so you can have a Butler to assist with making those reservations for you. Currently the main stage outside is under construction and most the shows were inside a smaller and very warm auditorium with no breeze and if you don’t get to the show by 8:15-8:30pm to find a seat then you’re stuck standing during the show in the back, shoulder to shoulder with others. Entertainment pool side was good at the “Party Pool.” At the family pool there’s no entertainment or music. Would be nice to at least have some music over there. All-in-all my family and I enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this resort to others who are looking for a resort that’s not too large but still offer some of what the larger resorts offer such as entertainment for adults and kids.

Overall the resort was really nice. Large property with lots of restaurants and lots of bar options. A few little things that were less than great though.. Room service was super confusing. Thought it was included in the All Inclusive but when I looked breakfast was an extra cost while lunch and dinner seemed to be included. Also the website they had you use to make reservations and view some of the resort amenities was not super user friendly but not super complicated. The resort did a good job of advertising activities… but then not all of the activities happened as planned, especially during the week. End of week/weekend seemed to be more accurate. Food and restaurants were good. Lots of options and pretty much what you’d expect from all inclusive. Overall, it was a good experience.
