My partner and I loved this resort so much! First time traveling to cancún and they were very friendly, welcoming and informative. Definitely would recommend this resort to anyone traveling to cancún. Also the food was delicious so we’re the drinks. We especially loved the activity people! JJ and Miguel have the best deals if you’re looking for any activities!

The staff everywhere in the resort were fantastic! Manager Luis, Alfredo, Vanilly and Stephanie in the restaurants! The beach is raked daily, we were not troubled by seaweed. Lots of beach and pool chairs. Room was very clean and well appointed! Food was tasty! All you could ask for !

The hotel feels outdated with old, dingy rooms. Our shower clogged constantly, and the water took hours to drain. Dining options are limited, with three restaurants requiring reservations every time. The worst part was being tricked into a time-share presentation. Staff promised a 2-for-1 massage for my sister's birthday if we had breakfast at their sister hotel, but we ended up being forced into a 90-minute presentation. When we returned, they hadn't reserved our massage, but the manager eventually made it right. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, and there wasn’t much vendor hassle on the beach. Great location as well. Near restaurants and bars. I’d still recommend it, but be prepared for some inconveniences.

Do not let the images mislead you; if you're searching for a pleasant beach area, this hotel isn't for you. The beach is obviously man-made and resembles to a lagoon. Furthermore, this hotel is not suitable if you enjoy dining options. The dining alternatives are limited. When my boyfriend and I went to celebrate his birthday, there was absolutely no entertainment. I have conflicting feelings regarding the workers since it appears like they don't care because they are overworked and underpaid. I suppose you should try this place if you're seeking for a quick trip, but if you're spending time and money on your holiday, you should reconsider.

The stay in this hotel is good except for the for some staff that works in the reception area especially the man they where so aggressive and pushy about the tour on they’re other hotel they don’t even give us the reservation to use they re 2 other restaurant unless you agree on that tour, this is the way he said to us we need your credit card after that I will give your restaurant reservation I think in order for you to go to that tour credit card is required , so we spent eating our 4 days in the buffet . We only have few days to spend and every hour is precious. We like Cancún so we will definitely comeback but will consider a different hotel

outdated property, most of the furniture needs update, food options are very limited and no quality at all, staff don’t know much english and there is always a miss communication. sewage smell in room gave me headache, hot water in shower needs a good 15 minutes run before you use shower, rooms are very clean but towels are old. maintenance is slow, elevator didn’t work for a day and half and our room was on 6 floor! I didn’t enjoy my stay here.

Great property with a nice private beach, great gift shop and a very lively lobby which always had something fun going on every night like karaoke or a pianist. The lobby bar was fun with great staff and quick service. The beach bar was nice with decent drinks. The pool was nice, however be prepared, its not heated, very few people in pool, considering we traveled in January. The three restaurants looked nice however we could only get reservations for one night due to being all booked up. When you make the reservations, they do try and sell you on going to another Occidental property to discuss a vacation package. We told them upfront we were not interested so surprisingly enough we only were able to make one reservation for dinner. I suspect if you do the vacation tour, you’ll probably get reservations to all 3 restaurants, but that’s just an assumption. Another nice feature is at night, they have artisan shops set up on the property where you can purchase local art and jewelry. The buffet breakfast was OK, it was better for breakfast than it was for lunch. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and we really enjoyed this property and definitely would recommend.

My recent check-in experience at a resort in Cancun was a series of disappointments and upsetting interactions, particularly with the front desk staff. I arrived with another group of friends, and we had requested to be placed in rooms close to each other. However, they placed our group in separate locations—our friends on the 3rd floor and us on the 2nd floor. To make matters worse, the room originally assigned to us had a strong, unbearable odor of paint that caused us physical discomfort, including headaches. We had to practically beg the staff to move us to a different room, which they begrudgingly did, placing us next door to our friends after initially claiming that no accommodations could be made. Unfortunately, the rudeness and lack of hospitality from the staff set the tone for the remainder of our stay. Once we settled into the new room, there were still basic necessities missing, like washcloths. When we requested them, we were told to come to the front desk instead of having them delivered to the room. It rained heavily during our stay, and the hallways began to reek of sewer, adding to the unpleasant environment. The worst part, however, was the blatant disrespect and what felt like discriminatory behavior from the staff throughout our stay. As Black women, we often felt ignored or treated with less priority compared to other guests.
