The food was fine, the service was okay, but nothing was really "excellent". The hotel did not offer any entertainment beyond a DJ or band at dinner, nothing during the day. The menu was the same most days and the all-inclusive menu did not include any fine cuts of meat or even a hamburger. Our trip was enjoyable, but nothing stands out as a reason to return.

Izla Hotel was a wonderful stay for my family and I. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the beach front view from the island was top notch! Would recommend going!

Great little hotel. Food was not great for dinner, but the lunch was pretty good. The hotel is small, kind of walkable (5min to a bar down the street, 15min to "the joint"), but best to have a golf cart to tool around. The hotel was clean and well kept for the most part. The pool was chilly but it's early in the warm season. The beach was well kept and cute. All inclusive was a great deal so we did that and also ventured off quite a bit which I would highly recommend. North is busy, more touristy, but south has cool, niche spots to discover. Loved Isla and recommend a golf cart for your whole stay, there are so many places to discover!

The staff all are willing to help but to really get results that is another question. For example, the cleaning team, always forget to replenish toilet paper tissue papers or even soap. You always have to ask and the are not fluent in english so halp of the time what tou need is not done.

Not unlike the rest of Mexico, the streets and areas beside the streets were dirty with garbage and sewer. When it rained there was an awful smell of sewer.

Nice property I enjoyed that it was a small resort! Rooms did have a moist musty smell but we did experience a lot of rain so the humidity was high. Food pool side great we ate quesadillas a lot of them daily!!! Friendly staff all around. Would stay here again!

The hotel was great, and the staff was excellent. The pool & beach were nice. The ocean there is a little murky and has weeds in multiple areas, we spent time at Playa Norte due to that fact. One thing this place needs is a better evening gathering spot for guests.

The resort and room were nice but felt expensive for what it is. The location was quiet and we enjoyed it as we had a golf cart to get around. The AC is locked in the room so you are unable to turn it up or down to be comfortable. You can ask front desk to change it but it took several requests and reluctance. Also it’s important to know that when you have maid service they take your towels and wash cloths but do not give you new ones for several hours. It’s my understanding they send away dirty laundry and need to wait for its return. Would be good to know this as we were without when leaving pool and wanting to shower. We ate a couple meals at resort and food was good. I do want to give out a big shoutout to the man selling his hand crafted items in the lobby. He spent so many hours there and was so kind and never once pushy! We loved this and him so we made sure to purchase from him before we left. Support local! Would stay here again if we found a better deal. Was maybe just higher as we booked closer to travel.

I loved everything about this place!!! It was small, quiet, it’s awesome!! Never had to fight for a chair anywhere or at a restaurant… we chose the all inclusive option… because a few days on the beach equals the cost at a minimum 😂😂 so we always take that .. but it was only $10 if we wanted to go Hildago … this place is fantastic and will treat you well!!! If you have had enough of people at playa Norte this is your place!!
