Ixchel is located in the perfect spot, walking distance to everything in downtown area. The property is beautiful and ckean. The staff is amazing and the food from onsite restaurant Kalak was delish.

Really lovely visit at the Ixchel. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Location is amazing with the most beautiful beach right outside and easy dining/shopping options. Feels very safe.

Proximity to the beach and umbrella with chairs included, hard to beat. However, if you weren’t one of their “special” guests, you weren’t allowed to save a beach chair in the morning. This was super confusing and inconvenient. The food was okay but definitely overpriced as were the drinks. It was nice to be served on the beach and the wait staff were all fabulous. Overall, would recommend.

It is on Playa Norte, steps away from the main shopping/dinning street. There is a golf cart rental business on the way to the shopping/ dinning street. Beautiful view from the room.

This property was small and convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops. It was a quiet hotel, with good amenities that was adjacent to a public beach access, but because of the availability of the beach chairs and waiters, it made you feel like it was a private beach.

The resort is on IMO the best beach in the Cancun area, Playa Norte. The hotel is walkable to the main street of Isla Mujeres with the best restaurants on the island. We were in a ground floor unit so the noise level was a bit high in the early mornings but the staff was more than welcoming and friendly. We would return but hopefully to a higher level unit.

Perfect Isla Mujeres location in the middle of Playa Norte and a half block walk to Hidalgo Street for restaurants and shopping. Very easy vacation to just walk off the ferry and not use anything but your own 2 feet for everywhere you need to go. Family loved it - especially the Nachos Kalak from the hotel cafe. Plus the nightly marquesitas vendors down the street. What more do you need?

Very nice rooms. Nicer than the pictures actually. The beach is wonderful with no worries about saving chairs. Distance to downtown, restaurants, bars and shopping couldn't be better!!
