Overall the hotel is nice and clean. The staff trick me into this massage to attend a 95 minutes presentation and when me and my husband with my 1 year old got there the staff ANA at the other sister hotel Dreams sands vivid was rude af. First of didnt even say good morning, she asked right away in Spanish which i barely understand she assumed im Mexican. where’s your husband and i told her i dont understand Spanish “ she asked where’s your husband, and i said he is outside putting my son to sleep, she answered he needs to be here for the presentation, and i asked can you give him like 10 mins to put my son to sleep and he will be here. She insisted NO he needs to be here right now!!! I asked her nicely to wait but she was rude she told me if we are not interested we can leave. Super unprofessional . So we left. Haven't even had breakfast just to attend the presentation which i want to sign up for but oh well. Went back to hotel and they let us pay for my spa. They wasted my time going there back and forth and just to be treated bad!!! The supervisor ( bald ) told us you didn’t attend so you need to pay. At first he was like oh im sorry i will still give you what we promised even though you didn’t attend but it was just a lie. I don't think ill ever go back to Dreams Sands Cancun. So disappointed! Dreams Sands need to hire professional that can sell whatever they are selling. I wont sign anything if i need to deal with someone like Ana super unprofessional and rude.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a small resort but it’s beautiful. The beach was a major highlight. It’s a small beach and it can be difficult to get a chair right away but the staff are really good about clearing abandoned chairs for you and accommodating. The water is fairly calm and shallow so you can stay in the water all day leisurely. We took two kk g walks each way and they were both beautiful walks. The food at the Asian restaurant and steak house was very good. The Italian left something to be desired, but wasn’t terrible. The buffet was okay - typical resort buffet. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. If you’re looking for entertainment, they don’t have much of that at night but the resort is walking distance to downtown so you have that option too. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would go back!

First, the shining star of our experience: the staff! So many wonderful, smiling people always ready to help, and serving with kindness and a welcome smile. I couldn't speak highly enough of the staff we encountered all day, every day. Second, the food: absolutely delightful. The buffet was by far our favorite option as it was fast and convenient, and there was always something for everyone in our group, from the picky 4 year old to the choosy 78 year old, everyone was happy. The coffee was excellent as well! The room: it was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom had everything we could need for comfort and cleanliness, view was fantastic, could not hear our neighbors at all. They supplied an extra bed on wheels that was very comfortable as well when we decided we needed more sleeping accommodations. The beach: oh, the beach! Clean and expansive private beach with clean white sand, plenty of lawn chairs and towels, shallow waters and calm waves perfect with kids or to play volleyball etc, lots of shade available, servers making their rounds, etc. Surrounding area: lots of little shops right across the street from the hotel entrance selling all the souvenirs you could ask for, hats, sunscreen, sugar skulls, etc. A large supermarket within a short walk that was much like a Target or Walmart, selling ALL the things you would need to live, including a full grocery store. The only negative we experienced was the noise level from music outside by the beach that lasted until 10

First time in Cancun, what a beautiful experience. I would definitely recommend Dream sands Cancún resort and spa to everyone. The staff was outstanding and the food, the water , pool everything was great. I’m definitely coming back here for my next vacation.

Staff did great to responding to our problems but were there for three nights and had a water closet stop working on us. A cooling system that needed attention and a door adjoins our rooms needed to be serviced. Again staff was good just seems like the facility is quite old and outdated.
