The Ava Resort is definitely geared to be nothing short of amazing... but not quite yet. The resort itself appears to be still in their soft opening stage. There were many restaurants & amenities that were not open yet, several parts of the building still under construction so we heard hammering & smelled paint daily, but it wasn't inconvenient as we spent most of our day at the pool. The staff all around was courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. All of our encounters at the front desk (Daniel🥇), public relations (Elizabeth⭐️), and the Legendary Club (Diana⭐️) were very pleasurable. The early check-in they allowed us with ease was a fantastic start to our 5 day stay! I really enjoyed a resort that served authentic food and not just the american fare of burgers, fries, pasta & pizza. The variety of buffet options were tasty, but sometimes not stocked however quickly resolved. The reservation restaurants we experienced (Copal, Black Iron, Kita) all served dishes that were delicious & beautifully plated. The only miss at dinners was that even though we were asked by the hostess at check-in what we were celebrating none of us received a celebratory experience. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning, keeping our linens stocked when we opted out of service, & turn down service nightly. The beverage team kept our fridge full of cold drinks too. While we greatly missed having beach access the pool & service team made up for it! We had daybeds, umbrellas, & great waiters daily!!

Beautiful Modern property recently opened. The buildings and Pool areas are very nice modern designed overall very mice property. The Rooms are spacious we booked a Friends and family suite which has a separate area for the kids that was very convenient. We also had a big balcony with private hot tub. Hotel advertised as a Premium level service which they do offer some but not quite fully there yet. Drinks are premium Brand labels which was excellent, however the food is kind d of hit and miss. Service by the pool was the best thing. The servers are top notch and food was good. We tried 4 of the specialty restaurants. The Mexican COPAL was very good, the Teppan Yaki was good but service was very slow. Appetizers after the main course and cold soup. Not good. The Italian Restaurant was very disappointing. Finally the Mediterranean was average some plates were acceptable others not so much. The Cleaning of the rooms was also very questionable every day I had to ask for towels or run around and find a service cart and grab some because they would not leave fresh towels. Also be prepared for a very agressive sales pitch for their $$$$ Vacation club. Once you don’t agree to buying it they will keep steering you into different offices where they will try to sell you something else, another week of vacation or some excursion. It very annoying. Also there is no beach. Beach is infested with sargassum is unusable.

I had a nice experience in the hotel, the pool is very nice and I enjoyed the view at night with the moon in the water at night and amazing mornings. However, I believe is quite hard to get a reservation for a good dinner and when I finally got some of them I realized the restaurant was empty, even though many people tried to join while I was waiting my time. Additionally, the food available is cheap almost impossible to have a good steak. If you don't drink much, I think the all inclusive does not worth. Special attractions in the hotel like bowling, laser tag, etc are all with an extra fee.

Love it here. The staff was professional, helpful, and attentive. The food at the restaurants were great especially Chez moi, highly recommend! The housekeeping comes 3x a day so you come back to your room like you just checked in. The fridge was not filled up everyday though. They only filled it up once when we were there. The room service was right on time. Never was late for us. Overall, It was a great stay and we would definitely come back when everything is open.

My stay at Ava Resort Cancun was nothing short of perfection. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, with modern rooms that offer breathtaking views of the ocean. The food was exceptional, with a lot of restaurants offering a variety of delicious cuisines. The service was impeccable—every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The pools were clean and luxurious, and the adults-only area was a great touch for relaxation. The spa was one of the best I’ve ever experienced, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious, all-inclusive getaway in Cancun!
