Pros: Staff at check-in were efficient and friendly, and parking was easy to access. The room was clean, and not large however we had anticipating this so it was fine. Cons: The sheet was barely on the mattress when we arrived, and I had to fix it; small issue but a poor first impression. There was nowhere to hang damp/wet towels to air them, which wasn't an issue for us as we were only there for one night, but for a hotel emphasising environmentally-friendly practices I would have wanted fresh towels each day due to this. Finally, construction work at a nearby site woke us up early the next morning; I understand this can't be helped by the hotel but I would have expected a heads-up either before booking, or at least upon check-in.

A firm favourite in Canberra
3rd time at Little National and it's a firm favourite for a short stay. We love the 2 lounge areas and this past weekend we made the most of the open fire and wine selection there .

Always wonderful
The main reason I choose little national is just its level of comfort. It’s quiet and the bed is beyond comfortable. I love a really squishy bed, but my colleague who was also staying with us like a firm bed and it worked for both of us. Hard to explain but it’s just perfect, the rest of what they offer is also perfect. A Coworking space, all of the things that you would expect in a premium hotel in a smaller package. And yet the room still feels kind of big.

Always brilliant, quiet, and cosy.
Every time I stay at Little National, I’m just so grateful that places like this exist. It’s the perfect bedroom, and the fact that there’s a common area that has tea and coffee and a place to work is incredible. I really like the beds, I have major problems with my hips and they are just brilliant. It just feels cosy and even though the rooms are small, everything kind of feels big in it.

Also love this place. But, the communal Library and Lounge on levels 5 and 6 - usually a highlight of any stay - was freezing cold. They were unusable. In a place like Canberra, the team really need to make sure the heating is on!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms small but functional Was woken by other guests closing their room doors Parked outside Hotel as the Hotel Carpark was full on the night that I stayed. Some unknown person apparently asked for a beer and charged it to my room
