Absolutely not a 4*hotel! The fridge has been making a weird and unpleasant sound throughout the whole stay. The hotel has never responded to my request via Expedia message re the electric chargers at all. They did not cancel my deposit during the check out and I had to call to ask them to do it. They hold the deposit for almost one week! Never again!

Excellent.

Hotel is stunning, couldnt hear a pin drop in the room. Especially for being on the main road. Staff were fantastic, rooms were so clean and comfortable. Only problem is no phone reception. But can use wifi calling etc. So wouldnt mark it down on score. Was close walk to the city snd Lonsdale Street to meet people. Such a great hotel. The food was amazing the 2 timed I dinned at the hotel restaurant. Pricing was great also.

I cannot recommend this enough

This is honestly the best place in Australia to stay. Let alone Canberra. The attention to detail from the staff is incredible. The space is huge, with most of the suites very quiet and with terrific views. It’s so convenient town and just an easy walk to a whole lot of restaurants. The tram is just out the front. Honestly, I just can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful hotel! We loved the large room with super comfortable bed and nice sitting area. Bar and dining room were cozy and fun with great food and drinks. Front desk staff sweet and funny but very professional. Great stay!

Really lovely hotel. Top notch service, always felt they would do anything to help me as a guest. Kindly upgraded to a 1BR apartment which was stylish and so well appointed. Modern decor, really flash and everything worked! Only downside is the TV only sems to give terrestial channels and Foxtel; was expecting built in Youtube, Netflix etc but not seen. And, noisy plumbing (mild).

If you need phone reception don’t stay here

Beautiful and clean hotel. Restaurant menu is average with limited choices. There is no or minimal phone reception (Telstra). It is very disappointing that the hotel does not advertise this fact. I had to go outside of the hotel to make and receive phone calls. When I inquired at the reception I was told that the hotel in located at a poor reception area.

Amazing place

I love DECO - everything about it is perfect. Back facing and side facing (so, most) rooms are noise free. The apartment itself is just incredible. It has everything - I was there to write and as a writers retreat, I cannot fault it.

The Deco Hotel is perfect place to stay for family trips to Canberra. Conveniently located with spacious rooms and great facilities it has everything we need when travelling. Plus the staff are always friendly and very helpful.
