Jamie, the elevator guy, managed to turn a routine check-in into a mythical ordeal, channeling his inner Sphinx with a refusal that felt more like a riddle than hotel policy. Who knew one person could so effortlessly derail your day? As if that wasn’t enough, the room came with uninvited buzzing guests—mosquitoes galore. Given the risks of tropical illnesses, you’d think the hotel might have sprayed while cleaning. But no, it seems riddles and bites are part of the ‘unique’ guest experience here.

5 restaurants; one coffee bar; extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was awesome; breakfast selection was phenomenal; tried something different every morning. My only suggestion would be to open the pool earlier, so as some of us might like to swim laps, rather than hit the gym.
