Hotel is not very clean. A non-smoking room was booked but the whole floor (including the room) smelled of cigarette smoke. Furniture damaged &/or old and bathroom unclean. Bathtub had black mold in corner and was stained yellow. On a positive note, hotel staff were very friendly, however.

Stairs were dirty and dusty. Dusty hallway. Carpet in our room was in poor condition and didn’t look like it was cleaned. Breakfast was not great as well. Waffle maker was not working as expected

Not recommended.
No rooms cleaned at check-in time. Front staff was not helpful. Breakfast was substandard. It didn't feel safe for a family. I do not recommend this place.

The hotel itself is decaying, the property is old. There was a constant smell in the hotel not sure where it was coming from, I asked for air fresher and the guy gave me a sort of bug spray. The blankets were old and torn. The price they charge is insane in regards to service and quality. Lastly, there was no parking spot and no lift to take your luggage to the second floor.

Family Trip
We had to change plans last minute, due to the fires at Jasper. Travelodge had the rooms, the fair price, and they were also listed on Hotels.com, so everything started very good. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms were clean, and the breakfasts, were great.

The floor wasn’t cleaned properly, build up beside the fridge was obvious, and should have been done by housekeeping as a standard clean. Bathroom mirror was falling off, and there was a wrapper from the soap stuck to the ceiling in the shower. The staff answered the requests quickly, and everyone we talked to was friendly and nice.
