Never again!

The only thing I want to comment on is the decision management made when we asked for a refund. Our girl came down with a cold so decided to head back home to Saskatchewan. We paid for 4 nights in advance, left after 3 nights. I sent an email to the manager explaining why we left. Our security deposit was returned but the room pre-paid rental amount was not. Never again! The only reason why I gave 3s and 4s was because of the support staff. Good workers doing a good job.

The room they initially provided us was ice cold, no heat. The initial offer was an extra blanket then the statement what do you want me to do. We ahould have been provided a new room without us asking or telling them we are looking at leaving their establishment.

The receptionist told a visitor my room number at 11pm and the person went in my room and took my 3 kids, took them out of the hotel at 11:45, the police had to get involved with a distress call and he was located to 1am and the kids were dropped off at 1:15am. I cried consistently as I was told the kids were dropped off, I asked the receptionist why you would let anyone upstairs without calling the room to confirm. He told me the person had a calm face and did not look like he could hurt anyone, that the person told him we were expecting him. This is weird and I have never seen something like this. The hotel is suppose to be a safe space away from home. We didn’t sleep all night, I am definitely suing them for this.
