airport shuttle not always available

Airport shuttle was not available when we arrived in Calgary Airport just after noon. Apparently they expect patrons to wait two hours til 2pm as the shuttle is not available between 12 and 2pm. They should hire an alternate driver , we took an UBER and were not reimbursed for the fare to the hotel which was only $15 Cheap management - bed was too soft too. Probably won't stay there again

For the price we paid to stay there for one night, I would have expected better. The room had an odd smell to it, we couldn’t use the pool at our booked time because a child defecated in it, there were a couple homeless/junkies hanging around the hotel, someone banged on our window at 6am and woke us up. However, the staff were very friendly and polite.

The waterslides are great but I would not get a room at all remotely close to the pool again, people partying out there until 11 at night, hard for a baby to get to sleep. And a guest pulled the fire alarm, we lost half our time slot at the pool, which wasn’t the hotels fault, however the time slots do make it tough if something unforeseen occurs. Would stay there again potentially but only with a room far from the pool area.

We stayed here because of the water park, and because of hearing it was a fun place for the kids. When we stayed the room was dirty, we noticed the toilet was dirty when we checked in. After we checked in we ate and then went straight to the pool and returned to our room around 7:30. Upon returning the roof directly infront of our room had fallen on the floor, there was metal on the floor and dangling from the roof. Super unsafe and I’m super glad my kids weren’t there when it happened. I went in the room and called the front desk. To their credit the maintenance guy was there within an hour to do what he could. After that frustration/ scare/ feeling of not being safe/secure there. We tried to enjoy the night but upon re entering the room to try to bathe and put the kids to bed, we had to call again and get housekeeping to come reclean the tub as there were little black hairs in it… still trying to get our $450 for the night use of the hotel we then tried to bathe the kids. However once the tub was holding enough water to bathe them in the paint on the tub was flaking off which is unsafe. The woman working the front desk was very friendly and understanding and brought us a luggage cart/switched us rooms to one where we could use the tub. That room was better but switching rooms with a 2 year old at 9at night still not a good stay at all. This was brought up to the manager. Who would only offer 50% off our next stay. As if I’d stay there again. It’s falling apart

The room was very big , we had a suite , the shuttle was in the garage so we used a taxi service which they gave you a voucher for , we left at 6am so didn’t use the restaurant . The pool and water slide was busy with kids . They had a whirl pool which was nice . We had assigned times to use the pool
