Caen is a very nice city. The hotel was close to the bus system allowing us to get around without having a car. The hotel staff was very informative and helped us with any questions we had. We stayed her for two nights allowing us to visit the Caen museum and have our personal tour of the DDay sites. Would go back if ever in the area.

The hotel was in the center of the city in the older part of Caen. Beautiful buildings and many walkable pedestrian streets.

This property is located in the heart of the old city center. It is surrounded by shopping, dinning and sight seeing opportunities. The breakfast was hot and fresh every morning, with lots of options.

Caen - expect a characterless rebuilt ‘50’s city but was surprised at how much history and architecture has been retained. Hotel convenient and comfortable.

Location was very good. Receptionists were very helpful, in particular one who was totally fluent in English. In the breakfast room I observed that the knives and forks were placed with the handles at the bottom of the containers with knives and forks. It means everybody will touch the part you put in your mouth when they pick up theirs. It is also a health code violation (at least in the US). When I took my concerns to the reception they said, actually some other guest pointed it out also, but I do not think they will change it while you are here! REALLY. S I did not take breakfast any more in the hotel..

This hotel is in a good location although if your room faces the square it's a bit noisy at night. This didn't matter to us as it was great for people-watching. The hotel is clean and bed was huge. The staff were very unwelcoming on our arrival, they offered no map or information about the City. We had to ask about breakfast, and places to eat for dinner. It wasn't explained to us that thete was a guest bar/lounge. Different staff member next morning, same unfriendly demeanour. Although we reported that pipe under our bathroom basin was leaking, it remained unfixed for our stay. The 2 women working in breakfast room were the only helpful people we encountered. However, taxi drivers in Caen were great!
