It was a beautiful property. The staff was very attentive, they had transportation within and also out of the property (shuttle). The service at the restaurants was great. Only thing was, you weren’t allowed to swim on that part of the ocean so you had to go over to one of their other properties to be able to get in the beach. Amazing stay, recommend.

We enjoyed our first trip to PB Sunset Beach! We arrived around 2pm and our room was ready. They have golf carts that escort you around the property. You just call them and they’ll come, usually in less than 5 minutes! The property is very hilly but you can walk around as well. You’re given a bracelet at check in that serves as your room key, so you can use that for your door, closing tabs after eating (required even if no charge) and any extra charges. We tried a variety of the restaurants on property. Our favorite was Tazuma (Japanese). We went off site to the Quivera steakhouse (free shuttle from lobby) and it was beautiful and great food. We also went to the sister properties Rose and Blanco. We were told you had to call same day for the free shuttle after 7am. We called right at 7 and they said it was full! I asked how, and they said you could book through the PB app starting at midnight. So, we took a taxi. What they also didn’t tell us was that you could wait standby for the shuttle as many people no show. We enjoyed swimming and lunch at Cilantros at the Blanco hotel. Other than the shuttle issue, our only complaint was that some of the restrooms around the property had some repairs that weren’t taken care of. Also, watch our for the timeshare sales around the lobby area. We didn’t like that.

Our stay was overall an incredible getaway for our family of 4. We were traveling with a 1.5 and 3.5 year old, which can get tricky. We had the Super Executive Suite which worked out well, because we could set up their sleeps stuff in an alcove in the bedroom, and then close the door and still enjoy time after they went to bed in the living room space. I would suggest that if you need a crib, you bring your own. Theirs was not very sturdy, the mattress was an inch thick and clumpy and there were no actual sheets for it (nor would a standard crib mattress fit with how thin the mattress was. Also having 2 bathrooms was great. Suite service through the app was convenient, but the market was also nice for a quick stop. The views were incredible, and staff very friendly. Sadly one of the 2 elevators in our villa was broken for the entire week that we were there. Making the wait time to go anywhere a bit longer. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and knowing what we would change/bring we would likely stay at the property again.

We had the best time at our stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset. The property was so beautiful with amazing views. Plenty of pools, dining options and the staff were all very accommodating. I would definitely return!

On the good side, the views are stunning, the food options are really great, the service is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. On the not so good side, the activity packages offered by the concierge are expensive and if you book something, be prepared to pay a lot more once you are onsite, everything is extra (i.e. Cactus does not allow you to take your phone with you and they sell photo packages (i.e $100 usd per ride), you need to pay $25 usd extra per person to use the facility, if you book ATVs, ask which one you are getting, upgrades are $150 to $300 usd on top, once you check-in they offer you a private tour for an extra $100 or wait ~30-40min until they get a group big enough for the activity regardless of having an appt, etc…). Be careful, from airport, hotel lobby, market lobby and some of the restaurants there are people trying to sell you time share!

Property was nice. Lots of pools and restaurants and great amenities. Staff was nice and ver accommodating. The rooms were definitely out-dated and in need of help.. Electrical sockets, TV size, Mattresses etc.. But other than evening time, we didnt spend too much time in our rooms.

We are a family of 4 including two teenage sons. The AI was definitely utilized and everyone appreciated the multiple options for dining. The staff was amazing! Shout out to Giovanni for getting us whatever requests we had. Carlos, Omar, and Marcos at Pool 26 were amazing waiters. We stayed at pool 26 most of our trip and they were great! The only complaint that we really had (even though we didn’t complain) was it took at least 10 minutes to get luke warm water in shower to run and the beds were really hard. We acknowledge that we could have requested another room or informed someone but it wasn’t that big of a deal to us. We will return!

Terrible Property!

Our stay was horrible. I have a list of about 10 items that I will be sending the hotel directly. We ended up leaving the following morning after check in and went to another resort. They would not reimburse us for the remaining 4 days but it was worth leaving.

They had everything we needed plus more...i liked all the food and dessert options....great service from all the staff love how they all know at least a little bit of english...i went for spring break nice weather other than ocassional winds.. very kid friendly and wondeful location
