Great position and well designed room
The Hilton Garden Inn is a relatively new option for accommodation in Busselton and because of the great position next to water and town we thought we’d book for our 2 day staycation. The top reviews were accurate and from the moment of check in we felt like valued guests. The room was compact but extremely well designed even down to having a deep nook in bathroom to put your toiletry bags etc. Big screen TV was easy to see either from the bed or the couch ( although we had trouble understanding finding which channel was which and the ones we wanted but that might have just been us. A couple of bottles of free water supplied each day and no problem to get a jug of milk from bar for our cuppa rather than the long life. Breakfast was excellent with good choices and well replenished. We didn’t eat dinner at hotel as The Shelter is only 50 metres away and that’s such a fun place to eat. We would definitely stay here again. I think next time we would ask advice on using the shower taps. They were complicated to work out. My husband thought I was getting murdered with my loud yell when I got a blast of cold water from above from the shower rain rose at one point. :)

Unfortunately there was a storm during our stay which made the blind on the ranch slider bang all night long despite our attempts to stop it..or at least quieten it. This was nothing compared to being woken at 2am to a constant dripping sound and being rained on when i opened the blind above our bed

The place to stay
This is the place to stay in Busselton, right next to the jetty, 2 breweries and waterfront restaurants. Breakfast was included for us and had a large selection. Room had jetty and water views. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and would stay here again next trip

Amazing staff. Great food. Great amenities. Lovely view and spacious balcony. Nice toiletry products. Four big comfy pillows. Wish the TV was a smart TV but that would be my ONLY pick up. The friendliest and most attentive staff I've ever had at a hotel and I travel heaps for work. Well done, Hilton Gardens Busselton. No wonder you're the number one Hilton in Australasia!

This hotel advertises a 4**** rating. However those things associated with this levèl are not provided. No room service at all. I had no body wash for three of the for days I was there. And there was no soap provided as an alternative. Also it was not communicated to me that my tariff included breakfast so I went out looking for breakfast every day. To their credit when they realised this they waived my food and incidentals bill, however I had not spent much at the hotel so it did not equate to my extra expenses for breakfasts. Little things were annoying - no armchair to sit in, no bathrobe, and nothing in the minibar.
