I’ve been debating whether to leave a review after our experience at this hotel. I’m usually not one to complain, but I feel it’s important to share my concerns in hopes they’ll be addressed for future guests. The hotel’s location is fantastic, with the beach just two minutes away, and the view from our room was amazing.
Upon arrival, the staff was very nice, and check-in was smooth. While some had complained about the elevator situation, it wasn’t a big issue for us.
Unfortunately, once we got to our room, things took a turn. The AC unit was covered in black mold and dust, and there was mold in the bathroom as well. I took a video of the AC. Concerned for our 8-month-old baby’s health, we requested the room be cleaned, but all they did was wipe off the dust. I felt uncomfortable the entire three nights we stayed.
We also specifically booked this hotel for its gym and kitchenette. However, there wasn’t a pan in the room, and when we requested one, the staff initially said we’d need to pay 11,000 won. Despite agreeing to this, we didn’t receive the pan until after I spoke directly to the manager the following day.
In conclusion, while I wanted to love this hotel due to its excellent location, the issues we encountered made it difficult to enjoy our stay. I hope the mold is properly addressed to ensure future guests don’t face the same problems.
