The room was horrible dark and dated . The radiator was rusty the net curtains were dirty the paintwork all scratched . The shower gel was empty and the liquid soap was in a dirty dispenser the toilet role holder was broken and the sanitary bag holder was empty . On a plus side the bed and towels were clean . The chairs in the dining room are covered in stains .

A grand place with very polite staff. Breakfast was very nice with many different options. Parking is easy and the leisure facilities were perfect for after work. The one evening meal I tried was very nice although the portion size was a little small for the price, the bar is a tad expensive also. Regardless I've booked another stay for work. Great place.

Lovely hotel. Easy to find, spacious carpark, the entrance stairs/area are fantastic very welcoming. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. The staff were lovely and friendly.

it could do with a bit off freshing up but it clean has all you need and the staff are great good size car park very tidy grounds breakfast is got and served from 07:00 and yes I would be very happy to stay there again

Definitely not worth the money. Out dated, old fashioned and minimal or basic complimentary products. For nearly £100 a night I definitely expected more as I would of paid £30 tops for my stay. The £100 for the night got me a bed, basic kettle with tea and coffee, soap and shower gel, with use of the gym facilities (which were basic and needed a clean) For the price I paid I was expecting at least shampoo and conditioner and probably even breakfast in the morning. I'd definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone

Disappointing stay

Lovely old historic building with lovely helpful staff but room hadn’t been cleaned properly (rubbish from previous guest on side of bed) and the view was very disappointing considering the property (see pic) I felt like I’ve been shoved in the basement. Doubt I go back here tbh
